Objetivo: analisar a produção científica sobre as ações de saúde mental desenvolvidas no âmbito da Estratégia Saúde da Família. Metodologia: revisão integrativa de literatura realizada na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, PubMed e Web of Science, que após aplicação dos critérios, selecionaram-se 14 artigos científicos. Resultados: as ações de saúde mental desenvolvidas na Saúde da Família são de matriciamento, o Programa Intervenção Precoce, a Terapia Comunitária Integrativa, os grupos terapêuticos e a visita domiciliar. Também foi identificado o desenvolvimento de práticas focadas na doença com o privilégio de consultas ambulatoriais e o uso excessivo de psicofármacos. Há necessidade de investimentos na formação do profissional da saúde, além do fortalecimento da rede extra-hospitalar que sirva de retaguarda para a Saúde da Família. Conclusão: a literatura aponta que o cuidado em saúde mental na Saúde da Família é tímido e ainda muito focado no modelo biomédico.
Objective: to analyze scientific production on mental health actions developed in the Family Health Strategy. Methodology: integrative review of the literature in the Health Virtual Library, PubMed and Web of Science, that after applying the criteria, 14 scientific articles were selected. Results: the mental health actions developed in the Family Health are matricial practice strategies, the early-intervention programmes, Integrative Communion, therapeutic groups and household visit. The development of disease-focused practices was also identified with the privilege of ambulatory consultations and the excessive use of psychiatric drugs. There is a permanent necessity of investments in the training of health and education professionals, besides the strengthening of the extra hospital network, serving as a backup for the family health. Conclusion: the literature points out that mental health care in the family health is timid and still too much focused in the biomedical model.

The objective of this study is to reflect on the organization and development of nursing research in Brazil, pointing out some knowledge advances and limits until the moment, as well as indicating some of the challenges for the research in nursing. One of these challenges would be establishing the relation between nursing and care.

Nursing care to the human being in psychical suffering is the theme of this investigation, developed in a psychiatric hospital, in the west region of the Paraná State. This is a qualitative research with the aim of finding out nurses' understanding about their work in psychiatric nursing. Authors used open interview to all the nurses of the institution. Then, data were grouped in thematic unities and analysed through the analysis of the content.

The study aims to describe teaching practices--in planning, execution and evaluation of the teaching-learning process--used by faculty of some courses in the health field in Brazil: Odontology, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Nutrition, Social Work and Veterinary Medicine. The sample was made up by 29 faculties enrolled in a didactic subject course at graduate programs. They answered a questionnaire with semi-open questions. The answers obtained point to a "banking" education practice, according to Paulo Freire. This kind of education is characterized by: 1) emphasis on the transmission of information; 2) many hours of education; 3) little integration between courses and 4) lecture classes.

Looking upon occidental silence which involves the paternity, we performed this research with the intention to conceive some associated aspects: the family role, birth of son expectation and father social role. For that, 7 fathers have been interviewed with ages between 21 and 45 years. This study allowed us observed that the paternity of the interviewed fathers is experienced by the father-son relationship preoccupation, kids education and the constant search of ways to experience the paternity as a form to be near of the kids and the wife.

The author approaches some ideas about phenomenology, general lines of phenomenological research and some considerations about phenomenology and psychiatric nursing, as an attempt to allow a profounder view of these themes. He makes a reflection about this area of work, descrying possibilities for caring the human being with psychiatric suffering, based on the comprehension of this individual.

Through comprehensive analysis, the authors reflect about the emergence of family thematic in the speeches of the individuals denominate schizophrenics who are out of crisis. Using phenomenology as a methodological way, the study intends to show how these subjects focuse the family in their talk.

The study approaches the requirement to professional nurses to understand the child as a developing person. In order to have this comprehension, the child aggressive behavior was approached according to some theories of development that allowed us a new perspective of action in the relationship with the child.
