RESUMO
Este artigo discute a relação entre o uso de drogas e o mal-estar decorrente do processo civilizatório, tendo como referência o texto freudiano Mal-estar na Civilização e a noção freudiana de desamparo, realçada por Lacan. O autor faz uma análise histórica dos estudos das toxicomanias e sua nomeação, para finalmente realçar a especificidade psicanalítica da escuta das palavras, sendo este o eixo para a aproximação do que se refere ao corpo e ao pulsional, e não os comportamentos como atualmente se preconiza. O autor faz um percurso de sua experiência desde a Promotoria de Justiça, depois como magistrado, até a prática clínica psicanalítica onde vai demonstrando a diferença da escuta dos sujeitos que sofrem de algum tipo de adicção. ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the relation between the use a of drugs and the discontent resulting from the process of civilization, using as a reference Freuds text Civilization and its discontents and the conception of forsaking from Freud, emphasized by Lacan. The author does a historical analysis of the study of drug addiction and its nomination, and then finally he enhances the psychoanalytical specificity of listening to words, this one being the main point to an approach of which that is referred to the body and the instinct, and not to behaviors, as it is professed nowadays. The author draw a course of his experience since as a Prosecutor of Justice, and then as Magistrate, till the clinical practice of psychoanalysis, in which he demonstrates the differential quality of listening to subjects who suffer from some kind of addiction.(AU)
