Symptoms of thyroid nodules and differentiated thyroid cancer include those of hypo- or hyperthyroidism, voice changes, difficulty breathing when supine, globus sensation, dysphagia, and cervical adenopathy. Surgery has been the first-line mainstay treatment option for large thyroid nodules and thyroid carcinomas.
