OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical outcome of the patients with primary diffuse large B-cell lymphomaï¼DLBCLï¼. METHODS: Clinical data of 148 patients with DLBCL in our hospital and cancer hospital from March 2006 to April 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to estimate progression-free survivalï¼PFSï¼and overall survivalï¼OSï¼. RESULTS: 5-year OS and PFS rates were 85% and 69%ï¼respectively. The survival analysis showed that 5-year OS rate of R-CHOP group was significantly higher than that of CHOP alone groupï¼89% vs. 70%ï¼P<0.05ï¼. In univariate analysisï¼several clinical factorsï¼such as older ageï¼>60 yearsï¼ï¼poor ECOG scoreï¼≥2ï¼ï¼advanced stageï¼â
¢-â
£ï¼ï¼higher IPI scoreï¼≥3ï¼ï¼CHOP alone and absence of radiotherapy related with poor survival rate. Furthermoreï¼multivariate analysis showed that age>60 year significantly related with the worse OS. CONCLUSION: Age >60 year is an important independent prognostic factor to predict worse OS or PFS.
