RESUMO
Moderation of content in online Health Social Networks (HSN) is critical because information is not only published and produced by experts or health professionals, but also by users of that information. The objective of this paper is to propose a semi-automatic moderation Web Service for assessing the quality (trustworthiness) of health-related videos published on the YouTube social network. The service is relevant for moderators or community managers, who get enabled to control the quality of videos published on their online HSN sites. The HealthTrust metric was selected as the metric to be implemented in the service in order to support the assessment of trustworthiness of videos in Online HSN. The service is a RESTful service which can be integrated into open source Virtual Social Network Platforms, therefore improving trust in the process of searching and publishing content extracted from YouTube. A preliminary pilot evaluation in a simple use case demonstrated that the relevance of videos retrieved using the moderation service was higher compared to the relevance of the videos retrieved using the YouTube search engine.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the videos on the YouTube video sharing site, noting which points addressed in the videos related to CPR and BLS, based on the 2010 Guidelines for the American Heart Association (AHA). METHODS: This was an exploratory, quantitative and qualitative research performed in the YouTube sharing site, using as keywords the expressions in Portuguese equivalent to the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" and "Basic Life Support" for videos that focused on the basic life support. RESULTS: The research totaled 260 videos over the two searches. Following the exclusion criteria, 61 videos remained. These mostly are posted by individuals and belong to the category Education. Moreover, most of the videos, despite being added to the site after the publication of the 2010 AHA Guidelines, were under the older 2005 guidelines. CONCLUSION: Although the video-sharing site YouTube is widely used today, it lacks videos about CPR and BLS that comply to the most recent AHA recommendations, which may negatively influence the population that uses it.

BACKGROUND: Assessing language development is a complex task that requires practical and theoretical knowledge about the investigated issues. It is also important to take into account data gathering and analysis methodology, in order to achieve consistent and reliable results that mirror the subject's reality. AIM: considering the purpose of obtaining the maximum data in minimum time, without jeopardizing their quality and effectiveness, our aim is to identify the better sample's size and moment of videotaped interaction to study the pragmatic abilities of children with Down syndrome. METHOD: The communicative profile of 25 children with Down syndrome aged between 2 and 7 years were determined as proposed by Fernandes (2004). Data obtained through samples of 15 and 30 minutes were analyzed and compared. The situation analyzed provided interaction between the child and a speech-and language-therapist in play situations. To determine the statistical significance of data the tests Friedman, Wilcoxon and confidence interval were applied with a significance level of 0.05 (5%). CONCLUSION: There were no significant differences related to the obtained samples with different videotaped duration for pragmatic analysis of the communication of children with Down syndrome.

The aim of this study was to compare information on perioperative Nursing regarding audiovisual (video) and oral resources. 104 patients were registered as subjects and divided in two groups, 54 of them in the oral group and 50 in the video group. Authors concluded that the groups were homogeneous and that there was no significant difference between the two resources used. Independent from the resource used, the responses were qualitatively better. However, regarding perioperative informations, authors spent 10 minutes using the video while oral information lasted 45 minutes. The video unabled verbalization that is characterized by the exposition of methods and reduces the time spent with information.
