RESUMO
For the determination of blood haemoglobin concentration there were examined blood samples from eighteen Zebu heifers (Guzera breed) borned and maintained in the Zootechny Experimental Station of Sertaozinho city SP. The blood samples were collected monthly during thirtheen months and the blood haemoglobin concentration was determinated. The obtained values of the blood haemoglobin were statistically analyzed and revealed to exist a significant difference among the means values obtained during all the period; however the Tukeys test showed that the observed difference was owed to the mean value of the blood haemoglobin, obtained from twenty months old animals.
Para determinação dos valores da hemoglobina sanguínea foram utilizadas amostras de sangue de 18 novilhas Zebu da raça Guzerá com idades compreendidas entre II e 12 meses, nascidas e criadas na Estação Experimental de Zootecnia de Sertãozinho São Paulo As amostras de sangue foram coletadas a cada 30 dias, durante 390 dias. Os valores obtidos para hemoglobina sanguínea foram analisados estatisticamente revelando haver diferença significante entre as medias mensais das amostras colhidas no período. O teste Tukey evidenciou, contudo, ser a diferença apenas devida ao valor da média de hemoglobina sanguínea das amostras provenientes dos animais aos 20 meses de idade.
