RESUMO
Os movimentos da Reforma Sanitária e da Reforma Psiquiátrica foram fundamentais para a mudança de rumo da saúde no Brasil. A Constituição Federal, promulgada em 1988, representou um marco na luta pelos direitos dos cidadãos, pois ao estabelecer o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) como política, garantiu a saúde como direito de todos e dever do Estado. Para atender aos preceitos constitucionais, a Política Nacional de Humanização na Saúde apresenta uma nova cultura de atenção ao processo de cuidados na saúde. A Política Nacional de Humanização é um tema relevante aos profissionais da área da saúde, inclusive para o Assistente Social. Este estudo objetiva ampliar o conhecimento sobre a Política Nacional de Humanização e a contribuição do Serviço Social na saúde. Para a sua realização, desenvolveu-se a revisão bibliográfica e a análise através do método materialista dialético (AU).
The Health Reform movements and Psychiatric Reform were fundamental to the change in direction of health in Brazil. The Federal Constitution, promulgated in 1988, was a milestone in the fight for the rights of citizens as to establish the Unified Health System (SUS) as a policy, guaranteed health as a right of all and a duty of the State. To meet the constitutional requirements, the National Humanization Policy in Health presents a new culture of attention to the process of health care. The National Humanization Policy is an important issue for healthcare professionals, including the Social Worker. This study aims to increase knowledge about the National Humanization Policy and the contribution of Social Work in Health. For its realization, we developed a literature review and analysis through the dialectical materialist method (AU).
