O fisioterapeuta hoje é considerado como profissional de primeiro contato e possui maior vínculo com o paciente, tendo como principal laço social o atendimento domiciliar onde se favorece a transferência na relação fisioterapeuta-paciente. A transferência, segundo Freud, ocorre durante o tratamento psicanalítico, e também ocorre na relação do paciente com outros profissionais de saúde. Este fenômeno é estabelecido por pensamentos inconscientes. Através da transferência se estabelece uma relação fisioterapeuta-paciente que pode ser uma condição de cura e sucesso no tratamento. A psicanálise é um campo clínico atuante que busca compreender e analisar o paciente, sendo essencial na formação de profissionais de saúde que buscam outras correntes de pensamento em ciências humanas, gerando uma base teórica que, além das teorias psicanalíticas, também abrange a ética e a cultura humana, proporcionando uma abordagem clínica mais humanizada, com qualidade, envolvimento e comprometimento profissional, além da ética e do respeito ao próximo, neste caso, nosso paciente(AU)
