RESUMO
Com o advento da Implantodontia na Odontologia, tornou-se possível a instalação de implantes em áreas desdentadas, porém, nem sempre o implante é instalado em uma posição que favorece a confecção de próteses parafusadas, fator importante em reabilitações orais, pois mantém a reversibilidade da peça protética. Visando solucionar a estética e biomecânica dos componentes protéticos, surgiu o sistema tubo-parafuso, que permite corrigir a angulação de implantes mal posicionados sem perder a reversibilidade da prótese. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo elucidar, por meio de um caso clínico, o sistema de munhão personalizado com parafusamento lateral tubo-parafuso, explicando suas aplicações e vantagens (AU).
With the advent of Implantology in Dentistry, the installation of implants in toothless areas became possible. However implants cannot be always inserted in a position that favors a screwed prosthesis confection, an important factor in oral rehabilitation because it maintains the reversibility of the prosthetic piece. Aiming to solve the esthetic and biomechanics of the prosthetic components then the screw-tube appeared which allows the correction of the angulation in poorly positioned implants without losing the reversibility of the prosthesis. The present study aims to clarify through a clinical case the personalized trunnion system with lateral screwing screw-tube, explaining its applications and advantages (AU).
