We investigate how a plug of obstacles inside a two-dimensional channel affects the drainage of high viscous fluid (oil) when the channel is invaded by a less viscous fluid (water). The plug consists of an Apollonian packing with, at most, 17 circles of different sizes, which is intended to model an inhomogeneous porous region. The work aims to quantify the amount of retained oil in the region where the flow is influenced by the packing. The investigation, carried out with the help of the computational fluid dynamics package ANSYS-FLUENT, is based on the integration of the complete set of equations of motion. The study considers the effect of both the injection speed and the number and size of obstacles, which directly affects the porosity of the system. The results indicate a complex dependence in the fraction of retained oil on the velocity and geometric parameters. The regions where the oil remains trapped is very sensitive to the number of circles and their size, which influence in different ways the porosity of the system. Nevertheless, at low values of Reynolds and capillary numbers Re<4 and n(c)≃10(-5), the overall expected result that the volume fraction of oil retained decreases with increasing porosity is recovered. A direct relationship between the injection speed and the fraction of oil is also obtained.

Neste artigo, a autora discute a questão do processo criativo em O nascimento da tragédia, descrita por F Nietzsche, quem analisou e revelou os elementos arquetípicos constitutivos do fenômeno trágico - o saber, o apolíneo e o dionisíaco - mas, sobretudo, iluminou a dialética fundamental da criatividade humana. No entanto, ao observar a dialética entre os dois arquétipos, sua análise ultrapassa a questão da criação da tragédia e do processo criativo, sendo transportada para o plano metafísico, dá os fundamentos para a compreensão do processo histórico - vale dizer, a individuação da cultura, bem como a individuação do homem. Este artigo tem como objetivo, ao descrever as ideias fundamentais de Nietzsche em O nascimento da tragédia, mostrar como C. G. Jung absorveu-as na compreensão do processo criativo e da arte, mas, fundamentalmente, mostrar como essa se liga ao processo de individuação.
In this article the author discusses the issue of creative process in The birth of tragedy, described by Nietzsche, who analyzed and revealed the constituent elements of the archetypal tragic phenomenon, namely the apollonian and the dionisyan, illuminating the fundamental dialetic of human creativity. However, when observing the dialetic between the two archetypes his analyses goes beyond the question of the creation of tragedy and the creative process that transposed to the metaphysical level and gives the fundamental basis for the comprehension of the historical process, i.e. of the individuation of both man and culture. This article has the aim to describe Nietzsche's ideas in The birth os tragedy, and how C. G. Jung received them on the comprehension of the creative process and art and exposes how they are connected to the individuation process.

Neste artigo, procuramos analisar uma possível cisão na ética contemporânea servindo-nos do modelo das forças conflituosas do apolíneo e do dionisíaco conforme propostas por Nietzsche. Analisamos e destacamos as orientações éticas relacionadas ao consumo e aos conflitos subjetivos a elas relacionados. Para realizar tal estudo, usamos como ponto de partida uma análise do filme Cisne Negro (2010), de Darren Aronofsky, que traz à tona questões centrais para a análise que nos propomos realizar, complementando-o, ainda, com outras referências literárias e publicitárias.
In this article we analyzed a possible division in contemporary ethic using the model of the conflicting forces of apollonian and Dionysian, as proposed by Nietzsche. We analyze and emphasize the ethical guidelines related to consumption and the subjective conflicts related to them. To develop this study our starting point was an analysis of the movie Black Swan (2010), by Darren Aronofsky, which brings up central questions to the analysis that we propose to accomplish. To complement our analysis we also use other references from literature and advertising.
En este artículo se analiza una posible división en la ética contemporánea utilizando el modelo de las fuerzas contradictorias de apolíneo y dionisíaco, según lo propuesto por Nietzsche. Analizamos las directrices éticas relacionadas con el consumo y los conflictos subjetivos relacionados con las mismas. Para desarrollar este estudio nuestro punto de partida fue un análisis de la película Cisne Negro (2010), de Darren Aronofsky, que nos lleva a cuestiones centrales para el análisis.
