RESUMO

The Artificial Insemination is a practice that provide significant improvements for breeding due to thedecrease of animals and maintenance of the reproductive indices, meaning lifting financial production returns. Thesix arrays used in this study were the breeds Large white, Duroc and crossbred with an average age of two years. Was performed lumbar pressure test determined the optimal time to perform the insemination. The players werepreviously evaluated and insemination dose was 50 ml, with two inseminations, with 12 hours. It used the spiralpipette Artificial Insemination intracervical (IAIC) and disposable pipette cap with the aid of IntrauterineInsemination catheter for intrauterine Artificial (IAIU), each model according insemination method, three arrays ineach method. The pregnancy rate was 66.67% and the rate of return to estrus was 33.33% for the two methods (P<0.05), so there was no significant statistical difference between the methods of Artificial Insemination.(AU)

RESUMO

The reproductive planning a squad, using natural breeding (MN), can be carried out to the maximumuse of animals (Campos, 2008). However there are practical to provide improvements in the system, such asartificial insemination (AI). twelve were used sows with an average age of two years. Pregnancy diagnosis wasperformed 30 days after the procedure. The arrays were divided into two groups, six were subjected to the IA-six(MN). The pregnancy rate was 66.67% and the rate of return to estrus was 33.33% for both treatments (P>0.05), with no significant difference. The AI in pigs shows satisfactory results in the northeast of Pará, whichprovides the producer, recognize that the method is the most profitable because it reduces the number of animalsin the herd, reducing environmental impacts and risks of transmission of sexually transmitted diseases.(AU)

RESUMO

This study aimed to evaluate the pregnancy rate according to the type of mucus presented in Saanengoats submitted to artificial insemination in fixed time (TAI). The study was conducted in the state of Pará, in themunicipality of Iguarapé-Açu, in Pará Northeast, in a private property. 12 goats used for milk production wereused, with ages ranging from 1 to 3 years, the classification of the type of vaginal mucus, was made according toSmith (2006). The pregnancy rate for animals with crystalline mucus was 33.3% for those who had crystallinestriatedmucus was 0% for those who had striatum mucus was 66.6% for those who had striatum mucus -caseosowas 50% and for those who had mucus cheesy pregnancy rate was 50%. After data analysis showed that the typeof mucus does not influence the animal pregnancy rate.(AU)

RESUMO

The work aims to provide knowledge of the actual production of a commercial farm, showing itspotential according to the reproductive management adopted. The work was conducted on a property located onHighway Augusto Meira Filho. - Km 2, in the city of Benevides, Northeastern Pará Females were multiparous, covered by natural mating. The study included the collection of farrowing matrix data in two distinct periods. They analyzed the mortality rate at birth and the number of piglets born alive. It followed 90 mothers in theperiod from March to August 2015 and 81 mothers in the period from February to April 2016. The data wereorganized in spreadsheets in Excel throughout the monitoring period. This study was the 8.63 value of pigletsborn alive according to the data for the year 2015 and 8.30 piglets born alive during follow-up in 2016. Thebirth mortality rate was 10.57% and 7.32% for the years 2015 and 2016, respectively. The reproductive indexobserved on the property is within the reproductive parameters of pig activity. The number of piglets born perlitter is well below, as evidenced by the literature.(AU)

RESUMO

Control of the estrous cycle through estrus synchronization protocols allows the producer to share lotsof females according to the management capacity and ownership of facilities easier handling and better use ofplayers. Therefore, the objective was to verify the influence of artificial insemination in fixed time (FTAI) withthe use of frozen semen in pregnancy rates of dairy goats. The study was conducted in the state of Pará, in themunicipality of Iguarapé-Acu, in a private property that is located in the northeastern region of Pará. 12 Saanengoats intended for milk production were used. Animals submitted to TAI with the use of six frozen semen becamepregnant, representing a pregnancy rate of 50%, which proved satisfactory results.(AU)

RESUMO

tThe objective was to evaluate the influence of the largest follicle diameter (DMF) in the TAI D10pregnancy rate of Nelore PO cows. 36 females were used, divided into two groups (≤ 10mm and> 10mm) in thefollowing protocol. In the D0 was introduced intravaginal P4 implant (DIB® 1g; Zoetis) and applied 2mL BE(Gonadiol®; Zoetis) IM. In D8 was removed the implant and applied 300 IU (1.5 mL) of eCG (Novormon®;Zoetis) and 2.0 mL of PGF2a (Ciosin®, Zoetis). In the D9 was applied 1mL BE (Gonadiol®; Zoetis) and 24hafter TAI was made. Females were subjected to ultrasound examination by transvaginal the D10 formeasurement of DMF. Pregnancy diagnosis was performed 30 days after TAI. Data were evaluated using SASsoftware (2009) and the pregnancy rate was compared using the chi-square test (P < 0.05). The pregnancy ratefor the group with DF ≤10 mm was 16.6% (6/36) and> 10 mm was 27.7% (10/36) with no statistical difference(P > 0.05).(AU)

RESUMO

The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of follicular population (PF) in the TAI of D0 in thepregnancy rate of Nelore PO cows. 36 cows were used, divided into two groups (≤ 10 and> 10 follicles) weresubmitted to the following protocol. In the D0 was introduced intravaginal P4 implant (DIB® 1g; Zoetis) andapplied 2mL BE (Gonadiol®; Zoetis). The cows were subjected to ultrasound examinations Transvaginal in D0 toPF score. Pregnancy diagnosis was performed 30 days after TAI. The data were analyzed by SAS software(2009) and the pregnancy rate was compared using the chi-square test (P < 0.05). The pregnancy rate for PF≤10 group was 54.55% and the PF group> 10 was 28.57% in the D0, with no statistical difference (P > 0.05).(AU)
