RESUMO
Urological and nephrological investigations were done on 100 diabetics and 21 controls. 77 percent of the diabetics were found to have vesical dysfunction. 58 percent of those with dysfunction also had decreased renal function. Evidence was produced in support of the theory that ascending urinary tract infection is a contributary factor in decreasing renal function in diabetics (AU)
