RESUMO
Gastrointestinal problems in dogs are commonly associated with bacterial and parasitic etiological origins, however, gastrointestinal pathologies of fungal origin such as Cyniclomyces guttulatus infection, which is characteristic of rabbits and rodents, but which should be better studied in dogs, are rarely diagnosed. Thus, the present study aimed to report a case of C. guttulatus infection in a dog attended at a private veterinary clinic located in the city of Fortaleza-CE.

Ophthalmic neoplasms are not common pathologies in birds, and this is a factor that makes their treatment difficult, since there is little literature and research on this aspect, but the current market has valued the inclusion of birds as non-conventional pets, which causes veterinary problems. medicine needs to specialize more and more in the care of these patients. Thus, the objective of the present study was to report an undifferentiated malignant neoplasm in cockatiel eye.

The use of ovariossalpingo-hysterectomy for elective sterilization of bitches and cats has been commonly performed in the surgical routine of hospitals and veterinary clinics. However, the incorporation of the modern surgical arsenal has been gaining ground due to the advantages related to the reduction of surgical trauma. However, some techniques require greater qualification and improvement of the professional involved, considering situations result in greater technical difficulty. In this context, the use of titanium clips in the ovaries-hysterectomy reduces the traction performed by ovarian exposure and the risks of bleeding, optimizing the procedure as a whole.
