RESUMO
Fabry disease (FD), like COVID-19, can affect multiple organs, including the lungs. Patients with FD are expected to develop severe COVID-19, due to involvement of not only the lungs but also the kidneys and the presence of other comorbidities. We present 2 cases of mild COVID-19 in patients with FD who were infected with the COVID-19 virus. Although it is unknown whether the X chromosome mutation in patients with FD affects the development of severe COVID-19, it is suggested that it may play a protective role against COVID-19 infection. Based on these cases, we suggest that FD is not a risk factor for severe COVID-19.

Se revisa el concepto de dominancia cerebral y su relación con las competencias naturales de las personas para el desempeño de actividades propias de su profesión, estudios y docencia. Se justifica el trabajo porque el conocimiento de la propia dominancia cerebral en los alumnos le facilitará la búsqueda de la ayuda apropiada a su capacidad de aprender, y al docente utilizar las técnicas apropiadas a la manera de procesar la información que tiene cada hemisferio cerebral. En el trabajo se trata de dar respuesta a la interrogante sobre el hemisferio dominante en los ingresantes a la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad San Pedro, sede central, Chimbote, en el ciclo académico 2009-1, y también relacionar la dominancia cerebral con el género y la mano hábil. Se encontró que el 53.3% de los ingresantes tiene dominancia derecha y sólo el 6.5% dominancia izquierda, y tanto en mujeres como varones hay predominio del hemisferio derecho, que se atribuye a la selección producida al momento de elegir la carrera profesional universitaria. Se recomienda que los docentes tengan en cuenta la dominancia cerebral de los alumnos y se diseñan técnicas de enseñanza para activar los dos hemisferios en concordancia con la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples.

The work is to answer the question on the dominant hemisphere in the news undergraduate to the Faculty of Sciences of the health of the University San Pedro, headquarters, Chimbote, academic cycle 2009-1 and also relate the brain dominance with gender and working hand. Found that 53.3 per cent of the news undergraduate has right dominance and only 6.5% left dominance, and both women and men must the right hemisphere, blamed the selection produced when choosing the University career predominance. We recommend that teachers consider the brain dominance of students and teaching techniques are designed to enable two hemispheres according to the theory of multiple intelligences.
