RESUMO
This study aimed to evaluate the production of varieties of irrigated forage cactus in family farming properties with ruminant in southern Piauí. The design was completely randomized in a factorial scheme (2x3), with six replications. Regarding the location there was a higher production in the municipality of Julio Borges, regardless of the variety of palm. The varieties of spineless cactus Doce Míuda and Orelha de Elefante Mexicana have higher fresh mass forage production in both locations.
