RESUMO
The objective of this study was the evaluation of the frozen and thawed semen fertility in ACP-102®.For this, 37 ewes were used, previously evaluated and considered clinically and reproducibly fit according toCBRA standards. The semen used was also evaluated according to CBRA standards (2013). After beingcollected, the semen was frozen in a TK 3000® seminal freezing machine. After thawing, half of the sampleswere re-diluted in ACP-102®, each vial in a 1 ml aliquot of ACP, and then the animals were inseminated indifferent ways, laparoscopic and transcervical. The group of animals submitted to insemination with semen redilutedin ACP-102® demonstrated a fertility rate on the 60-day ultrasound examination greater than the groupinseminated with Tris-Gem alone. No significant differences were found between insemination techniquesregarding fertility.

Simarouba versicolor belongs to Simaroubaceae family, it has been used in folk medicine and hasextensive proven biological activity. However, histopalógicos studies in the reproductive organs are scarce. Thisstudy aimed to evaluate the effect of ethanol extract of S. versicolor (Sv-EtOH) at doses 10, 20, 40 mg / kg in theuterine epithelium after 30 days of treatment. After euthanasia, the uteri were removed, fixed in 10% bufferedformalin. Followed by dehydration with alcohol (70-100%), cleared in xylene, subjected to impregnation andinclusion in paraffin. Cut thickness of 5.0 µm and subsequently submitted to hematoxylin-eosin and examinedunder a microscope. The results showed eosinophilic inflammatory infiltrate of medium intensity reaching themuscle layer. The highest dose showed changes of the endometrium, epithelium with increased with 100%eosinophil infiltrate the lamina propria of moderately severe intensity and mucosal epithelial cell swelling.

Simarouba versicolor belongs to Simaroubaceae family. It is known that this and other species of thegenus have several activities including the antiestrogen and male infertility. In order to verify the ethanol extractof Simarouba versicolor (Sv-EtOH) in isolated uterus of Wistar rats, studies have been conducted with Sv-EtOHon the tonic contractions induced by KCl or oxytocin, recorded by isometric transducers coupled to a system ofdigital acquisition, by characterizing that blocking the uterine contraction induced by oxytocin, it was found thatthere was no significant inhibition of these contractions in the presence of Sv EtOH at concentrations of 500,750, 1000 µg / mL. The Sv-EtOH (81, 243, 500, 750, 1000µg/mL) did not induce a significant relaxation ofcontractions induced by KCl showing an EMAX 49.26 ± 7.32 and did not induce significantly the inducedrelaxation of concentrations with oxytocin EMAX de 18,78±4,91%.
