RESUMEN

Although the notion of social entrepreneurship is not new to us today, it has not yet gained widespread acceptance and development in Vietnam. Although there are numerous study publications on the relationship between empathy and social entrepreneurial intentions, this problem has yet to be studied much in the context of Vietnam's, particularly among youth. The goal of this study is to see if young empathy is linked to their desire to start a social enterprise. Reliability analysis using PLS-SEM software and a binary regression model will be used to examine data obtained from 339 university students in Vietnam. According to the findings, as well as the theory of planned behavior and the theory of action phases, (1) empathy does not directly affect social business intention, but rather indirectly through two mechanisms, social worth and social entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and (2) individuals who are confident in their own abilities have more social entrepreneurship intentions. We provide recommendations based on these findings to inspire young people to pursue social entrepreneurship, contribute to the development of a sustainable economy, and contribute positive values to society.

This study aims to empirically test how learning strategies would fit into an undergraduate entrepreneur's profile.The design is cross-sectional with a sample of 527 The tested structural model adequately fits the data. It provided helpful information on learning strategies and entrepreneurial attitudes accounting for up to 20 % of variance of entrepreneurship intention. The learning strategies most related to entrepreneurial attitudes are those related to creativity, transference, and assess-ment of one's own performance. This paper provides for the first time evidence about the predictive power of several learning strategies on the entrepreneurial attitudes in connection with entrepreneurship intention (willingness and likelihood). This work increases our understanding of entrepreneurs' learning strategies, so that we can improve the design and implementation of educational resources to promote entrepreneurs' careers in emerging markets.Peruvian undergraduate students. A structural equation model was specified, estimated, and tested in Mplus 8.4. The model hypothesized direct effects of the different learning strategies on a factor of entrepreneurial attitudes (considering proactivity, pro-fessional ethics, empathy, innovation, autonomy, and risktaking dimensions) which, in turn, explained two indicators of entrepreneurship intention as outcomes.


Este estudio busca comprobar empíricamente cómo las estrategias de aprendizaje encajarían en el perfil de un emprendedor de pregrado. El diseño es transversal, con una muestra de 527 estudiantes peruanos de pregrado. Se especificó, estimó y probó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales en M plus 8.4. El modelo hipotetizó efectos directos de las diferentes estrategias de aprendizaje sobre un factor de actitudes emprendedoras (considerando las dimensiones de proactividad, ética profesional, empatía, innovación, autonomía y asunción de riesgos) que, a su vez, explicaban dos indicadores de intención emprendedora como resultados. El modelo estructural probado se ajusta adecuadamente a los datos. Proporcionó información útil sobre las estrategias de aprendizaje y las actitudes emprendedoras que explican hasta el 20 % de la varianza de la intención emprende-dora. Las estrategias de aprendizaje más relacionadas con las actitudes emprendedoras son las relaciona-das con la creatividad, la transferencia y la evaluación del propio rendimiento. Esta investigación proporciona la primera evidencia acerca del poder predictivo de varias estrategias de aprendizaje sobre las actitudes emprendedoras, en relación con la intención emprendedora (voluntad y probabilidad). Asimismo, aumenta nuestra comprensión de las estrategias de aprendizaje de los emprendedores, de modo que podamos mejorar el diseño y la implementación de recursos educativos para promover las carreras de los emprendedores en los mercados emergentes.

O modelo hipotetizou efeitos diretos das diferentes estratégias de aprendizagem sobre um fator de atitudes empreendedoras (considerando as dimensões de proatividade, ética profissional, empatia, inovação, autonomia e assunção de riscos) que, por sua vez, explicaram como resultados dois indicadores de intenção empreendedora. O modelo estrutural testado ajustase adequadamente aos dados. Forneceu informações úteis sobre estratégias de aprendizagem e atitudes empreendedoras que explicam até 20 % da variância da intenção empreendedora. As estratégias de aprendizagem mais relacionadas com as atitudes em-preendedoras são as relacionadas com a criatividade, a transferência e a avaliação do próprio desempenho. Este trabalho fornece a primeira evidência analisando o poder preditivo de várias estratégias de aprendizagem sobre as atitudes empreendedoras em relação à intenção empreendedora (vontade e probabilidade). Este trabalho aumenta nossa compreensão das estratégias de aprendizagem dos empreendedores para que possamos melhorar o desenho e a implementação de recursos educacionais para fomentar a carreira dos empreendedores em mercados emergentes.

This study investigates lean principles among Nigerian entrepreneurs and SME managers in the operational process in the aftermath of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria. It offers the panacea to the challenge of social-economic shocks and their adverse effects on SMEs' business activities in Nigeria. The study adopts a conceptual approach to investigate lean entrepreneurship practice by SMEs in Nigeria. It relies on data from extant literature, using a conceptual approach to examine the social-economic effects of COVID-19 pandemic and critical environmental factors on the lean entrepreneurship practice in Nigeria. Furthermore, the study explores the influence of lean practice among SMEs and entrepreneurs in Nigeria and suggests a broad model for lean entrepreneurial practice in post-COVID-19 pandemic Nigeria. Findings highlight the broad social-economic effects of COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges such as theft, host community pressure, weak legal system, and inadequate government policy support affect lean entrepreneurship practice. These factors constitute complex operational issues that would require the adoption of a more comprehensive approach to address. It also highlights crucial factors for post-COVID-19 pandemic SMEs' operational success in Nigeria due to deficits in infrastructure and regulatory efficiency for SMEs' operations to address the various challenges of business failures in Nigeria. The study suggests a lean SME and Entrepreneurial Practice model in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. It emphasises the need to refocus the active interest of the lean entrepreneur on critical business sustainability. The study recommends a critical review of the internal operational process among practicing entrepreneurial businesses and a re-modification of public policies system that governs the operational functions of entrepreneurial practices for reasonable and resilient post-COVID-19 pandemic entrepreneurship practices that can support the SMEs and economic growth in Nigeria.

Although numerous studies have explored the factors influencing entrepreneurial activity, there is a lack of a theoretical basis for linking these factors to entrepreneurship behavioral intention. The current study uses the theory of self-regulating attitude to construct a theoretical model of examining the relationship among cognitive bias, entrepreneurial emotion, and entrepreneurship intention. A total of 312 valid samples were collected from college students at a Chinese university. The bootstrapping method was used to test the multi-mediation hypotheses. Our research found that positive entrepreneurial emotion plays a mediating role in the relationship between optimism and entrepreneurship intention, whereas negative entrepreneurial emotion plays a mediating role in the relationship between overconfidence and entrepreneurship intention. These findings underline the importance of a correct understanding of cognitive bias and entrepreneurial emotion in the process of entrepreneurship.

AIMS: This study sought to contribute to research on entrepreneurial intention by identifying which constructs of the entrepreneurial profile and internal conditions of health care organisations support entrepreneurship and contribute to the entrepreneurial intention of these organisations' employees. BACKGROUND: In addition to psychological attributes, cognitive processes, motivations, sociodemographic and professional characteristics, and entrepreneurial skills, the literature indicates that internal conditions of organisations also contribute to explaining entrepreneurial intention. METHODS: To evaluate this model empirically, the primary data were collected with questionnaires distributed to nurses in two public hospitals-the Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro Hospital Center and the Local Health Unit of the Northeast. A total of 638 nurses filled out the questionnaire. The data were analysed using inferential and regression analyses. RESULTS: The results suggest that the dimensions related to personal attributes, namely, motivation and entrepreneurial skills, are the constructs that best explain the entrepreneurial intention of these professionals within their organisations. CONCLUSIONS: A broad discussion is needed about how to implement internal conditions that promote an intrapreneurial and innovative culture in health care organisations. IMPLICATIONS FOR NURSING MANAGEMENT: Health care organisation administrators need to prioritise intrapreneurship while structuring their management strategies, thereby creating favourable internal conditions (e.g., support, autonomy, rewards, time availability and appropriate organisational procedures) that enhance their nurses' entrepreneurial intention.
