Aural vertigo frequently encountered in the otolaryngology department of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） mainly involves peripheral vestibular diseases of Western medicine， such as Meniere's disease， benign paroxysmal positional vertigo， vestibular neuritis， and vestibular migraine， being a hot research topic in both TCM and Western medicine. Western medical therapies alone have unsatisfactory effects on recurrent aural vertigo， aural vertigo affecting the quality of life， aural vertigo not relieved after surgery， aural vertigo with complex causes， and children's aural vertigo. The literature records and clinical practice have proven that TCM demonstrates unique advantages in the treatment of aural vertigo. The China Association of Chinese medicine sponsored the "17th youth salon on the diseases responding specifically to TCM： Aural vertigo" and invited vertigo experts of TCM and Western medicine to discuss the difficulties and advantages of TCM diagnosis and treatment of aural vertigo. The experts deeply discussed the achievements and contributions of TCM and Western medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of aural vertigo， the control and mitigation of the symptoms， and the solutions to disease recurrence. The discussion clarified the positioning and advantages of TCM treatment and provided guidance for clinical and basic research on aural vertigo.
RESUMEN
The aim is to explore the clinical effects of combined treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and western medicine in viral hepatitis B cirrhosis and the effects on microRNA (miR)-122 and miR-200a. 116 patients with chronic hepatitis B cirrhosis were admitted to our hospital. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (qPCR) was employed to reveal the level of serum miR-122 and miR-200a in the three groups. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared, including alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate amino transferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL) and alpha fetoprotein (AFP) indexes, coagulation function indexes, liver elasticity value and the main therapeutic effects. After treatment, the ALT, AST, TBIL and AFP indexes significantly decreased in both groups, which were much lower in the western medicine (WM) + TCM Group. The levels of albumin (ALB) all increased, and the increase was more significant in the WM + TCM Group. The prothrombin time (PT) was down-regulated while the prothrombin activity (PTA) was up-regulated in both groups. Both groups showed a decrease in liver elasticity after treatment, which was more obvious in the WM + TCM Group. The incidence of primary peritonitis, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, gastrointestinal bleeding and electrolyte disturbance in the WM + TCM Group was significantly lower than those in the WM Group. The combination of Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of cirrhosis can reduce the occurrence of complications, improve the clinical symptoms and improve the clinical effects effectively, which is worthy of further study and clinical popularization. Objective To study and discuss the clinical curative effect of dampness Kushen Decoction in the treatment of psoriasis damp heat syndrome.Methods100 cases of psoriasis vulgaris(damp heat syndrome) patients who treated in our hospital from January 2014 to October 2016 were selected as the research object, the patients were divided into two groups by taking the single blind randomly grouping method, each group had 50 cases, the control group used Tacrolimus Ointment chemophlebitis, the observation group treated with dampness Kushen decoction on the basis of the control group, the total effective rate and skin injury score were compared between two groups.ResultsAfter 8 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);after treatment, the PASI scores in two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.05), but the PASI score in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe dampness Kushen Decoction in the treatment of psoriasis damp heat syndrome has significant curative effect, can effectively promote the skin damage and improve the prognosis better.

Objective To observe the effects of treating pulmonary infection of the aged people with the combination of TCM and WM.Methods A total of 120 the aged patients with pulmonary infection were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group,60 patients in each.The control group was treated with cefoperazone,sulbactam intravenously drop and inhalation of low flow oxygen(1～2L/min,2～4h,once/day),while the treatment group was added modified Xiaocaihu decoction and Shengmai injection on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 14 days.Results The significant effective rate was 63.3%and 45.0%in the treatment group and the control group respectively,showing significant difference(U=0.5248,P<0.01).The effective rate was 96.7%and 83.3%in the treatment group and the control group respectively,also showing significant difference(U=0.5314,P<0.05).Conclusion It is effective to treat pulmonary infection of the aged patients with modified Xiaocaihu decoction and Shengmai decoction together with western medicine.
