RESUMEN

To effectively teach sex education, educators need professional development to develop skills, specifically skills for being LGBTQIA2S+ inclusive. This article describes the lessons learned when developing an LGBTQIA2S+ inclusive collection of training video for sexuality educators. SkillFlix for Educators is a streaming video training resource created to improve educators' skills in facilitating sexuality education to youth. The creation of this training tool included formative research, design and development, and filming. Lessons learned include avoiding siloing the inclusion, using inclusive design strategies, and creating welcoming workspaces.

RESUMEN

As the sensitivity to corporate social responsibility (CSR) continues to grow, the goal of enterprises has expanded beyond the sole pursuit of economic value. Corporate social goal orientation has therefore come to occupy a central position in entrepreneurs' psychology and the transition away from a market-only economy. This study uses secondary data from 4,288 samples of 725 Chinese-listed companies from 2009 to 2020 to explore the driving factors in social goal orientation based on the characteristics of sample companies and their industry groups from the perspective of stakeholder relationships. The results can be summarized as follows: (1) there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between government stakeholder relationships and social goal orientation, and there is a significant positive relationship between financial stakeholder relationships, market stakeholder relationships, and corporate social goal orientation. (2) The correlation between single-dual stakeholder relationships and social goal orientation is not consistent. In light of the nature of the roles of government and the market, the correlation between the government-market dual relationship and corporate social goal orientation is not significant. However, there is a significant correlation between the finance-government dual stakeholder relationship and social goal orientation; that is, the dual stakeholder relationship maintains the existence of non-institutional capital and corporate financial capital. Moreover, there is no significant correlation between the market-finance dual relationship and corporate social goal orientation, and there is substitutability between market and financial stakeholder relationships. With the deepening of our understanding of CSR, the core goal of enterprises is no longer confined to the pursuit of economic value, and their social goal orientation has come to be regarded as a major driving force in sustainable development. This study enriches the research on the relationship between stakeholder relationships and shows that stakeholder relationships also have important significance to both achieving corporate goals and shaping entrepreneurs' psychology.

RESUMEN

Mining companies use environmental sustainability reporting to inform their stakeholders about their position in relation to environmental sustainability. This paper explores how these companies include topics related to the environment and its protection in their annual reports. The 100 largest mining companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) were included in the research sample, using market capitalisation as the size indicator. The investigation was performed by means of quantitative and qualitative content analysis of annual reports to identify relevant keyword occurrences. Results revealed that topics related to protection of the environment, emissions, carbon footprint, and climate change are addressed in companies' annual reports. In line with research in other industries, this study confirmed that the intensity of communication about these topics varies with company size. A new methodology was developed to assess the extent to which mining companies inform the stakeholders about their environmental protection initiatives and to address the limited applicability of the GRI G3 disclosure checklist for sustainability reporting, thereby enhancing the theory of social licence to operate.

RESUMEN

The purpose of this research is to investigate the associations of internal and external support mechanisms with entrepreneurial success, in the context of China's entrepreneurial sector from network theory perspective. The role of digital technology, as a moderator, has also been analyzed. Data has been obtained from 500 entrepreneurs in Jiangsu, a province in China. All hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. It has been found that family support, business partner support, community support and external stakeholder relationships have positive effects on entrepreneurial success. It has also been discovered that digital technology adoption strengthens the positive relationship between business partner support and entrepreneurial success. Theoretical and practical implications have been highlighted and future research suggestions have been provided.
