RESUMEN
The methods of polycardiography, sphygmography and arteriolosphygmography developed by the authors were used to examine 39 normal individuals, aged 22 to 42 years. A mathematical comparison of the phases of the left ventricular systole and of the complex parameters with the phase parameters of the peripheral flow on the level of the digital arteries and arterioles has demonstrated an insignificant correlation between them, thus indicating an autonomous nature of the peripheral flow on the mentioned level. A dynamic observation of the same parameters of the central and peripheral circulation in the acute, subacute and chronic periods of myocardial infarction in 50 patients revealed some disturbances in the indices of the contractile function of the heart and more distinct, progressive changes in the indices of the peripheral circulation down to the level of small caliber vessels.
