RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in the treatment of negative symptoms in patients with schizophrenia and its effect on brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).Methods:A total of 130 patients with negative symptoms of schizophrenia who received treatment at The Third Hospital of Quzhou from March 2021 to March 2023 were included in this randomized controlled study. They were divided into a control group and a study group ( n = 65 per group). Both groups of patients were treated with antipsychotic drugs. Based on this, patients in the study group were treated with high-frequency rTMS, while those in the control group were treated with pseudo-rTMS. After 8 weeks of treatment, Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), Scale for Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS), and Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP) scores were evaluated in each group before and after treatment. Serum BDNF levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Adverse reactions were observed during the treatment. Results:After 8 weeks of treatment, the PANSS negative subscale score and SANS score in the study group were (16.45 ± 3.98) points and (35.41 ± 6.29) points, respectively, which were significantly lower than (20.08 ± 4.16) points and (41.76 ± 7.36) points in the control group ( t = -7.46, -6.85, both P < 0.05). PSP score in the study group was (66.85 ± 8.93) points, which was significantly higher than (58.79 ± 8.28) points in the control group ( t = 5.62, P < 0.001). There were no significant differences in PANSS positive subscale score, general psychopathology scale score or total score between the two groups (all P > 0.05). After 8 weeks of treatment, the serum BDNF level in the study group was (12.05 ± 2.13) μg/L, which was significantly higher than (8.86 ± 1.94) μg/L in the control group ( t = 9.73, P < 0.001). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions during the treatment period between the two groups ( P > 0.05). Serum BDNF level was negatively correlated with PANSS and SANS scores ( r = -0.81, -0.85, both P < 0.001), while it was positively correlated with PSP score ( r = 0.82, P < 0.001). Conclusion:High-frequency rTMS can effectively alleviate the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, increase the secretion of BDNF, and be highly safe.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the social function, adverse reaction and medication adherence of paliperidone, amisulpride, and olanzapine in patients with first episode schizophrenia. Methods A total of 96 patients with first episode of schizophrenia was randomly divided into three groups, with reference to random numbers, among which there were 32 in paliperidone group, 32 cases in amisulpride group, and 32 in olanzapine group. All the patients in all groups were assessed with negative and positive scale (PANSS), personal and social performance scale (PSP), drug attitude inventory (DAI) at baseline and the end of 6 months. Results (1) There was no significant difference in the therapeutic effect between three groups (P > 0.05);(2) The scores of PSP and DAI were increased in three groups after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant compared to that before treatment (P < 0.05).Conclusions Three drugs have similar efficacy in the treatment of first-episode schizophrenia, and there is no significant difference in improving medication compliance and social function.

RESUMEN

Objective To analyze the first degree relatives of schizophrenia cognitive function damage degree and range, and make reasonable cognitive behavior intervention program. Methods Prospective selected 108 patients in Palit Provincial Hospital who were diagnosed with schizophrenia as the patient group, selected the same period first-degree relatives of patients with 108 cases as the kinship group, another 108 healthy volunteers were recruited to the normal group, compare and analyze the detection results of cognitive function of schizophrenia complete sets of test ing-consensus Version (MCCB) between the three groups and accordingly develope targeted cognitive interventions. Results Of all the 10 test of MCCB, the difference in verbal fluency between three groups was not significant (P>0.05),the remaining nine scores all had statistically significant difference(P<0.05)among three groups. There were sta-tistically significant differences(P<0.05) in all eight scores except continuous operational capability and verbal fluency between kin group and normal group, the differences in the spatial extent, symbol coding, maze, continuous operation ability were significant(P<0.05) between kin group and patients group. Conclusion First-degree relatives of patients with schizophrenia prevalence of cognitive impairment, cognitive behavior reasonable intervention can improve patients cognitive function level, improve the quality of life.

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To compare three different methods in transfection of plasmid pGPU6/GFP/Neo into chicken embryo fibroblast.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Different doses (1.25 μl,2 μl,2.5 μl) of Lipofec-tamin2000, Gbfectene-Elite and HilyMax were used to transfect 1 μg plasmid pGPU6/GFP/Neo. The transfection efficiency was observed by the fluorescence and the cell viabilities were measured.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The transfection efficiency of HilyMax was significant higher than that of Lipofectamin2000 and Gbfectene-Elite (86.85%±2.32% compared with 48.33%±3.24% and compared with 37.35%±5.41%; F=18.882, P<0.05). The transfection efficiency of 2.5 μl HilyMax was highest(90.53%±1.15%). The cell viability of Lipofectamin2000 was significantly lower than that of HilyMax and Gbfectene-Elite(65.76%±5.78% compared with 89.54%±0.86% and compared with 82.45%±3.56%;F=90.676, P<0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>HilyMax has the highest transfection efficiency and the lowest cell toxicity in transfection of plasmid pGPU6/GFP/Neo into chicken embryo fibroblast, with the optimal ratio of 2.5 μl HilyMax:1 μg plasmid.</p>
