RESUMEN

Core strength training plays an essential role in maximizing performance for badminton athletes. The core muscles in the abdominal, back, and hip regions provide stability, enable efficient power transfer between the upper and lower body, and allow for rapid changes in direction - all crucial components for success in badminton. However, optimizing core training requires an understanding of its impact on sport-specific skills. A variety of exercises targeting the abdominal, back, and hip muscles are discussed. Incorporating core strength training into regular regimens can improve athletes' overall strength, endurance, balance, control, and prevent injuries. This study investigates the effects of various core exercises on stability, agility, and power in badminton players. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to explore the biomechanical demands of badminton and how core musculature contributes to movements like serving, smashing, and lunging. Studies assessing the effects of core training programs in related racquet sports were also examined. The results indicate that targeted core exercises significantly improve athletes' stability, agility, and power output. Exercises targeting the abdominal, back, and hip muscles enhance performance capabilities while reducing injury risk. Machine learning (ML) techniques are then applied to further analyze the relationship between core training and athletic performance. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is developed using a dataset of athletes' training histories, metrics, and injury profiles. The model predicts enhancements to stability, agility, and strength from optimized core strengthening routines. Validation confirms the network accurately captures the complex interactions between training variables and physical attributes. This integrated approach provides evidence-based guidelines for tailoring individualized training regimens to unleash players' full abilities. ANNs hold promise for analyzing large datasets on athletes' performance metrics, training variables, and injury histories to design personalized training programs. Linear regression analysis confirmed the ANN's accurate predictions. The findings emphasize integrating data-driven core strength training tailored for badminton into comprehensive programs can help optimize physical abilities and elevate performance levels.

RESUMEN

The dynamic process of polymorphic transformations provides deep insights into the understanding of both the performance of explosives and its packing sensitivity. While terahertz spectroscopy is a sensitive tool that can be used to characterize its intermolecular forces. In this paper, terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is employed to investigate the polymorphic transformations of the explosive 2,2dinitroethylene-1,1-diamine (FOX-7) under a heating process. Solid-state density functional theory (DFT) uncovers the physical mechanisms that contribute to the polymorphic transformation. This is achieved by assessing the calculated spectra relative to the actual spectra from experiment. The results suggest that the THz spectral features that arise represent a redistribution of the intermolecular forces during the polymorphic transformations. This research will assist the understanding of the evolving properties of FOX-7, under external stimuli, which is vital knowledge for an explosive substance that can combust or detonate.

RESUMEN

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a clonal proliferation of abnormal plasma cells. Beginning with the use of proteasome inhibitor (PI), the treatment of MM has been significantly improved. Ixazomib is a new generation of PI, the clinical studies have shown that it has good efficacy and safety in frontline therapy, maintenance therapy and treatment of relapsed/refractory MM patients, mainly reflected in prolonging progression-free survival, low peripheral neurotoxicity and long-term medication without accumulated toxicity. This article reviews the mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, clinical studies and adverse reactions of ixazomib, in order to provide references for the treatment of MM.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVETo investigate the risk factors of Helicobacter Pylori (Hp) infection.

METHODSAll cases and controls came from 561 cases of out-patients with stomach diseases seeking gastroscopy in the Zhejiang Province First Hospital between April and July in 2000. The tissue samples of patients were stained for Hp by the improved Warthin-Starry technique and by methylene blue stain for routine histopathology. We classified patients as cases or controls based on the detection of Hp or not. Before gastroscopy, a questionnaire on lifestyle and health condition of was administered to patients by the interviewers.

RESULTSThe overall prevalence of Hp infection was 50.21% and the risk factors of Hp infection were significantly different between males and females. As for males, the duration of daily heavy physical activities, numbers of siblings in the household, family history of oliver disease, preference of spicy food and smoking were the risk factors for Hp infection. However, preference of beans and bean products, drinking well water, drinking tea, eating regularly and good education appears to decrease the prevalence of infection. As for females, consumption of caffeine contained beverages seemed to increase risk for infection. By analyzing with unconditional Logistic Regression Model in male and female groups combined, it brought to light that intake of egg and peppery food were the risk factors of infection, and intake of beans and drinking tea were the protective factors.

CONCLUSIONConsumption of beans and drinking tea must be advocated and the consumption of spicy food should be discouraged.

RESUMEN

Tie effects of L-ascorbate 2-sulfate(AAS) on fatty liver and hyperli-pemia of rat and guinea pigs induced by various treatments were studied. The results showed that AAS lowered cholesterol and total lipid levels in the serum and liver of rats fed diets supplemented with lard and cholesterol, while ascorbic acid had no obvious effect. In guinea pigs, AAS not only lowered serum lipid values and liver cholesterol, triglyceride and total lipid levels of DDT treated animals, but also prevented from decline of body weights of these animals. It also had the same effects to lower the serum and liver lipid values of those animals fed pentabarbital or high lipid diet.Remarkable increases of the lipid peroxide value of animals given high doses of AsA were observed, but no such effect occurred in those fed AAS.
