RESUMEN

The inadequate stability of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites remains a significant barrier to their widespread commercial application in optoelectronic devices. Aging phenomena profoundly affect the optoelectronic performance of perovskite-based devices. In addition to enhancing perovskite stability, the real-time detection of aging status, aimed at monitoring the aging progression, holds paramount importance for both fundamental research and the commercialization of organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites. In this study, the aging status of perovskite was real-time investigated by using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Our analysis consistently revealed a gradual decline in the intensity of the absorption peak at 0.968 THz with increasing perovskite aging. Furthermore, a systematic discussion was conducted on the variations in intensity and position of the terahertz absorption peaks as the perovskite aged. These findings facilitate the real-time assessment of perovskite aging, providing a promising method to expedite the commercialization of perovskite-based optoelectronic devices.

RESUMEN

Li metal batteries (LMBs) are known as the ideal energy storage candidates for the future rechargeable batteries due to the high energy density. However, uncontrolled Li dendrites growing during charge/discharge process causes extremely low coulombic efficiency and short lifespan. In this work, a thin lithiophilic layer of Ag was coated on the bare Li surface via a thermal evaporation method, which alleviated volume variations and suppressed Li dendrites growth during cycling. As a result, a long lifespan of 250 h at a current density of 1 mA cm-2 was achieved in the symmetric cell when using the Ag-modified Li foil (Ag@Li). The LiFePO4|Li full cell demonstrated an excellent cycling performance with a high specific capacity of 131 mAh g-1 even after 300 cycles at 0.5 C. This study offers a suitable method for stabilizing Li metal anodes in LMBs.

RESUMEN

The emerging metal-halide perovskites are promising for next generation optoelectronic devices. Recently, all-inorganic halide perovskites have been developed and show significantly improved stability compared with organic-inorganic hybrid halide perovskites. Here, we report a facile method based on the coffee ring effect of solvents to synthesize dual-phase CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 single crystal microsheets for the first time. The prepared dual-phase CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 single crystal is composed of a tetragonal crystalline phase of CsPb2Br5 and a monoclinic phase of CsPbBr3 according to X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. The sharp XRD peaks indicate the high crystallinity of the as-synthesized dual-phase CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 microsheets. CsPbBr3 is mainly distributed on the edge of the microsheets based on photoluminescence (PL) mapping images. Besides, a photodetector based on the dual-phase CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 microsheets exhibits good performance with a high on/off photocurrent ratio of 300 and a photoresponsivity of 2.68 mA W-1. The rise and decay times of the CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 microsheet photodetector are around 25.3 ms and 29.6 ms, respectively. The experimental results indicate that the dual-phase CsPbBr3-CsPb2Br5 microsheet could be a good candidate for the fabrication of high-performance micro photodetectors compatible with practical applications.
