RESUMEN

BACKGROUND:Nowadays, posterior cruciate ligament injury caused by a sports injury or vehicle injury is more common than people think.Posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is one of the main treatment methods, but there are still a lot of controversies about the surgical method and ligament selection of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. OBJECTIVE:To comprehensively analyze the global application trend of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and identify promising research hotspots of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction based on bibliometrics and visual analysis. METHODS:Publications(articles and reviews)related to posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction from 2000 to 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science(WOS).The country, institution, publication year, author, journal, average citations per item,H index, title, keywords of publication, and the top 25 cited articles were extracted and analyzed in detail. The VOSviewer/citespace/Pajek software was used to analyze the co-occurrence result of keywords to predict the hotspots of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 664 articles were included.(1)In the past 22 years, the number of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction articles has shown an increasing trend in general. The top 3 countries(the USA,China, and South Korea)accounted for 65.51%of all articles published. The USA has the largest number of publications. The University of Pittsburgh is the largest contributor.Knee Surgery Sports Traumatol Arthrosc and American Journal of Sports Medicine are the most influential journals.Laprade,Robert F.is the professor who has published the most articles in the field of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, and Fanelli,GC is the professor who has the highest total chain strength in the field of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.(2)The research direction can be divided into the following five clusters:"posterior cruciate ligament anatomical and biomechanical studies","posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction prognosis, outcome, and complications","posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgical method and tendon selection","surgical technique",and"posterior cruciate ligament tear combined with multiple ligament injury".(3)It is concluded that in terms of the trend of previous years,an increasing number of articles related to posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction will be published in the future. The USA is a world leader in the field of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.China and South Korea presented great potential in this area.Anatomical and biomechanical research of posterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction methods and the selection of tendons may be the future hotspots in the field of posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: There are important differences in the treatment and prognosis of adult intracranial low-grade ependymomas (grade II) versus anaplastic ependymomas (grade III). We evaluated the value of the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) for differentiating these two tumors and further investigated the relationship between ADC values and the Ki-67 proliferation index. METHODS: Clinical and preoperative magnetic resonance imaging data of 35 cases of adult intracranial ependymomas were retrospectively analyzed, including 20 low-grade ependymomas and 15 anaplastic ependymomas. The minimum ADC (ADCmin), average ADC (ADCmean), and normalized ADC (nADC) were compared between the two groups. Receiver operating characteristic curves were drawn to evaluate the differentiating accuracy of ADC values. The Ki-67 proliferation index of the solid tumor components was also measured to explore its relationship with ADC values. RESULTS: The ADCmin (.89 ± .17 vs. .66 ± .09 × 10-3  mm2 /second), ADCmean (.98 ± .21 vs. .72 ± .11 × 10-3 mm2 /second), and nADC (1.38 ± .31 vs. 1.02 ± .18 × 10-3  mm2 /second) were significantly higher in adult intracranial low-grade ependymomas than anaplastic ependymomas cases (all P < .05). ADCmean best distinguished the two groups, with an area under the curve value of .900. Using .716 × 10-3  mm2 /second as the optimal threshold, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of the two groups were 66.7%, 100%, 85.7%, 100%, and 80%, respectively. ADCmin (r = -.490), ADCmean (r = -.449), and nADC (r = -.425) showed significant negative correlations with the Ki-67 proliferation index (all P < .05). CONCLUSIONS: ADC values can differentiate adult intracranial low-grade ependymomas and anaplastic ependymomas, which could improve the preoperative diagnostic accuracy of these two tumors and guide their treatment.

RESUMEN

Total saponins in crude drug and induced callus of Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb. )Mak. grown in Jiangxi Province were analysed by spectrophotometry and TLC. Results sh-owed that the quality and quantity of saponins in crude drugs valicd collsiderably with cu-lture area, the life cycle and their crgans. The quality and quantity of saponins in callusalso varied due to source of clone. It providcd some cvidence for the production and harv-est of G. pentaphyllum.

RESUMEN

Object To study the callus culture of Gynura segetum (Lour.) Merr., so as to lay the foundation for the rapid propagation of its breeds. Methods The explants used in culture were root, stem and leaf of G. segerum. The MS basal medium containing different plant hormones was applied. Results The best explants were leaf of G. segetum. The medium induced callus was MS basal medium containing 1 0 mg/L NAA and 4 0 mg/L 6 BA and the callus induction rate was 64% . The sprouting rate of the callus transplanted to fitting differential medium was 86 7%.Conclusion The rapid propagation of G. segetum can be carried out by inducing callus of the plant.
