RESUMEN
Therapy with ezetimib (10 mg daily for 2 weeks) caused a 24% reduction of plasma LDL cholesterol level (p < 0.05) and maximum ADP and collagen-induced platelet aggregation from 76.2 +/- 1.54 to 65.3 +/- 3.38% and from 71.5 +/- 3.98 to 53.6 +/- 5.24% (p < 0.05) respectively. Combination of ezetimibe and simvaststin did not produce an additional decrease in platelet aggregation.

Reservation of blood components, done in good time, for autotransfusion to patients being prepared for elective surgery are the method of choice in solution of the tasks of an adequate preoperative preparation of the patients. Using autogenous erythrocytes and plasma increases infective safety and effectiveness of postoperative transfusion therapy. The application of present-day methods of intensive preoperative storage of autohemocomponents and wide using them in every-day medical practice is a necessary condition of the elevation of efficiency of treatment of elective surgical patients.

Cryopreseration of erythrocytes at ultralow temperature combined with long-term storage of erythrocytes frozen in disposable polymer hemocontainers at moderately low temperature (-30 : -80 degrees C) inside freezers with cryopreservatives based on propyleneglycol and glycerin is now the most promising type of low-temperature blood bank in Russia.

Storage of autologous hemocomponents in patients prepared for elective surgery is the method of choice for adequate preparation before surgery. Autogenic erythrocytes and blood plasma increase infectious safety and efficacy of postoperative transfusion therapy. Up-to-date storage of autologous hemocomponents is indispensable condition for effective treatment of orthopedic patients.

Cryopreservation is the method of choice in solution of the problem of the done in good time reservation of the components of blood and bone marrow for autotransfusion in patients referred to the contingent of particular risk. Freezing of autologous hemocomponents increases the infection safety and efficiency of therapy with hemocomponents. The wide introduction of using autologous hemocomponents into the everyday surgical practice and in the arsenal of means and methods of the medicine of extreme situations is an indispensable condition for increasing the effects of curative and medico-evacuational measures.

The first Russian solution Krimolit designed for cryopreservation of platelet concentrates down -196 degrees C was clinically tested. The therapeutical efficacy of the cryopreserved platelets was evaluated on the basis of clinical and laboratory monitoring of transfusions in 20 cancer hematological patients. They were found to have the same therapeutical action as fresh cells. The introduction of cryopreserved platelets into clinical practice allows one to form stores and to transfuse autological cells. Krimolit is recommended for clinical application.
