RESUMEN

Nomifensine and nortriptyline were compared in a collaborative trial by psychiatrists in private practice. The trial impiled:--selection of ambulatory depressed patients--randomization in parallel groups (respectively 31 and 34 subjects)--administration in double-blind condition of 4 capsuels daily of either compound during 4 weeks--quotation of depressvie syndrom with Hamilton depression scale before treatment after 2 and 4 weeks. The analysis of results shows clear improvment of depression scores, equivalent in both groups (non significant difference and posterior rejection of an alternative hypothesis). Practical problems encountered in controlled trials in psychiatrist's outpatients are discussed.

RESUMEN

The interest taken in traditional African Therapies was classically supported by a system of anthropological eurocentric references, motivated amongst other things by a folkloric curiosity. The socio-political evolution has progressively modified the vision of ethnologic teams of psycho-sociologists and psychiatrists. COLLOMB and LAMBO permitted recognition of a psycho-pathology which integrates with the cultural reality of the Africans and the Negros. The O.M.S. at present is supervising a number of enquiries into traditional African medicine. Obviously, such an ideological mutation imposes on occidental psychiatry the conceptualisation sociometry of certain traditional group therapies, distinctly making n'doep the forerunner in morenian psychodrama, and putting the healer in the position of leader in certain domains of modern psychiatry. Should occidental Europe be listening to the African Models?

RESUMEN

Moreno's psychodrama is a technique of training and of group therapy which obeys the laws of sociometry. At the beginning of his career, Moreno as Freud, found himself in a transcultural position which allowed him to better observe the "classical occidental individual" captive of his stereotypal "Tinned culture". The psychodrama aims to the liberation of the human being alienated in his individuality thus giving him back a creative and relational spontaneity owing to the cathartic value of the collective game and drama (taken is its etymological sense). The new American society, issued from the old Europe, allowed him to practise his theoretical conceptions of sociometry. If the Psychodrama is a method of remarkable efficiency in the training of dynamic psychology of groups, its therapeutics indications must be given with the greatest caution, in order to be at any time under medical control, specifically psychiatric control.
