RESUMEN
Method for detection of pathogenic microorganisms in different microbiological assays (water, faeces, punctate etc.) has been developed. Device for preparation of samples and filtration of studied material through transparent tracking membranes with fixed size of pores and subsequent microscopy of filtrate was developed also as well as device for filtration of different liquids in closed cylinder under pressure. Method significantly increases informativeness and reliability of analyses, and decreases of their labor and financial costs.

Results of 376 laparoscopies for combined traumas performed during 3 years were analyzed. Characterization of the contingent of the patients and mechanisms of the traumas is given. The diagnosis was correct and exact in 100%, in 78.2% of the patients it was possible to find out the injured organ. The expedience to expand the indications to laparoscopy for combined traumas and to fulfill the operations in the shortest time after admission was stressed. A mathematical evaluation of the strategy of doctor's behavior was made for objectivization of the psychological solution of the doctor concerning the methods of treatment of patients with a combined trauma.

The authors think it necessary to research causes of each case of spontaneous abortion more thoroughly. Pathomorphological manifestations of chromosomal, endocrine, immune and infectious pathology of the fetal bubble and endometrium are described. These criteria are compared to then content of sex steroid hormones in the circulating blood of pregnant women.

Analyzes the results of management of protracted torpid postpartum endometritis (10 cases) and severe septic endometritis following a cesarean section (9 cases), multiple-modality treatment of these patients including prolonged influent-aspiration drainage of the uterine cavity. Describes the drainage system, its fixation, and operation. Discusses a differentiated approach to infusion of the drugs directly into the uterine cavity in cases with the uterine inflammations. Demonstrates the advantages of multiple-modality treatment including the above method for some forms of postpartum endometritis.

Based upon an analysis of results of 1210 operations and 160 laparoscopies in children for "acute appendicitis" the authors make a conclusion that about 20% of children were subjected to unnecessary appendectomies. Laparoscopy allows to make the correct diagnosis in the absolute majority of children with obscure clinical picture of acute appendicitis and to choose a rational medical treatment.
