Two genera, Perithous Holmgren (Pimplinae) and Neoxorides Clément (Poemeniinae), are recorded for the first time from Mexico. Two species are described as new to science: Perithous escondidus Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov. (Mexico: Nuevo León) and Neoxorides borderai Khalaim, sp. nov. (Mexico: Hidalgo). A brief review of the North American species of Perithous and Neoxorides is given, along with identification keys for North American taxa are provided.

Mexican species of three pimpline genera, Neotheronia Krieger (24 species), Nomosphecia Gupta (two species) and Xanthopimpla Saussure (one species) are reviewed. Five species of Neotheronia are described as new to science: N. altacima sp. nov., N. bonita sp. nov., N. juanitae sp. nov., N. tequila sp. nov. and N. zaldivari sp. nov. Neotheronia septemtrionalis Krieger, 1905 is found to be a junior synonym of N. nigrolineata (Brullé, 1846) (syn. nov.). Seven species of Neotheronia are new records from Mexico: N. bostrandae Gauld, N. charli Gauld, N. donovani Gauld, N. hespenheidei Gauld, N. lizzae Gauld, N. lloydi Gauld and N. matamorosi (Brullé). Moreover, Neotheronia concolor Krieger, N. lineata (Fabricius), N. mellosa (Cresson) and N. nigrolineata (Brullé) are recorded for the first time from Honduras, and N. rosai Gauld is recorder for the first time from Guatemala. South American species Neotheronia cristata Krieger is excluded from the Mexican fauna. Identification keys to species of Neotheronia and Nomosphecia occurring in Mexico are provided.

Five new species of Tersilochinae (Ichneumonidae) are described from Mexico: Meggoleus hidalgoensis sp. nov., M. whartoni Khalaim, sp. nov., Phradis belovi Khalaim, sp. nov., Stethantyx covida sp. nov., and St. oaxacana sp. nov. Meggoleus whartoni Khalaim, sp. nov. is also recorded from Panama, and St. covida sp. nov. from Guatemala. The species recently described from Mexico Probles contrerasi Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino is transferred to the genus Gelanes Horstmann, comb. nov. A partial key to the species of Meggoleus with small propodeal spiracles and a key to Mexican species of Phradis are provided.

Meggoleus whartoni Khalaim, sp. nov. se registra también para Panamá y St. covida sp. nov. para Guatemala. Probles contrerasi, una especie recientemente descrita para México, se transfiere al género Gelanes Horstmann, comb. nov. Se elaboró una clave parcial de las especies de Meggoleus con espiráculos propodeales pequeños y una clave para las especies mexicanas de Phradis.
RESUMEN
We present a synthesis of the insects reported associated with plants of the genus Agave L. (Asparagaceae) in Mexico, through a detailed review of published records. This work includes two checklists: the first include the species of insects collected in Agave, name of their hosts, their geographical distribution, notes on their biology and, references. Natural enemies of the insects associated with agaves are included in the second checklist with their geographical distribution, insect species host and, references. We found 273 species of insects collected in different Agave species. These species belong to 63 families and 7 orders. The orders of insects with the highest number of species are Coleoptera with 118 species and, Hemiptera with 65. The natural enemies of insects collected in agaves were 98 species from 18 families and 6 orders. The genera Aphytis and Encarsia (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) grouped the largest number of natural enemies of insects that were recorded in Agave with 15 and 10 species, respectively. Insects were collected from 42 species of Agave, of which 25 are endemic to Mexico. This study provides biological information on Mexican insects captured in Agave and, their natural enemies. The need for the conservation of these plants and associated insects is highlighted.

Mexican species of the genus Probles Förster are reviewed. Twelve species have been discovered from Mexico, all belong to the subgenus Euporizon Horstmann and are new to science: P. alejandroi Khalaim, sp. nov., P. belokobylskii Khalaim, sp. nov., P. clypeola Khalaim, sp. nov., P. contrerasi Khalaim, sp. nov., P. juanitae Khalaim Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., P. lunai Khalaim, sp. nov., P. megasoma Khalaim Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., P. miquihuana Khalaim Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., P. picus Khalaim Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., P. spectabilis Khalaim Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., P. xalapana Khalaim, sp. nov. and P. zacapoaxtlana Khalaim, sp. nov. One species, P. megasoma sp. nov., is also recorded from Costa Rica. An identification key to species of Probles occurring in Mexico is given.

Two new species of the tryphonine genus Exenterus from Mexico, E. durangensis Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov. and E. sehuerachicus Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. nov., are described. Both species belong to the group of Exenterus species characterized by the unusually short, depressed tarsi. Exenterus durangensis was reared from the sawfly Zadiprion falsus Smith and E. sehuerachicus from Neodiprion autumnalis Smith (Hymenoptera: Diprionidae). This is the first record of the genus Exenterus as a parasitoid of these hosts. An identification key to separate the two Mexican species of Exenterus is provided.

Four new species of Encarsia Förster (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) from Mexico are described--E. albata Myartseva sp. n. (State of Nuevo León), E. barracas Myartseva sp. n. (State of Baja California Sur), E. chichenitza Myartseva sp. n. (State of Yucatán) and E. elenae Myartseva sp. n. (State of Tamaulipas). A key to the species of Encarsia in Mexico published in 2012 is modified to include the newly described species.

A new genus of Metopiinae, Ojuelos Khalaim, gen. n., with a single species, Ojuelos juachicus Khalaim & Ruíz-Cancino, sp. n., is described from Jalisco Province in central Mexico. Ojuelos belongs to the group of three genera (Cubus Townes & Townes, Colpotrochia Holmgren and Triclistus Förster) having a high lamella separating the antennal sockets and reaching the median ocellus (this lamella possesses a dorsal groove in it, just below the median ocellus), but differs from these genera primarily by 1) face and clypeus not convex in lateral view, 2) face separated from clypeus by a shallow transverse impression, 3) mandible with lower tooth very strongly reduced, 4) flagellomeres of antenna strongly transverse, and 5) dorsal carinae of propodeum reduced. A portion of the key to the genera of Metopiinae is provided to distinguish the new genus.
