RESUMEN
Tricliona Lefèvre, 1885 n. syn. is a new junior synonym of Bathseba Motschulsky, 1866. Bathseba syzygium n. sp., a pest of Syzygium cumini (L.) Skeels (Myrtaceae) in south India, is described and illustrated. Bathseba bifasciata (Jacoby, 1895) n. comb. is redescribed and illustrated. Bathseba bengalensis (Jacoby, 1908) n. syn. is synonymized with B. indica (Jacoby, 1900). Cleoporus variegatus Jacoby, 1904 is transferred to Bathseba and Tricliona subdepressa Jacoby, 1908 n. syn. is treated as its synonym. Tricliona foveipennis Bryant, 1950 is transferred to Gressittella Medvedev, 2009. Mangifera indica L. and Anacardium occidentale L. (both Anacardiaceae) are reported as host plants of B. bifasciata for the first time.

The flea beetle genus Meishania Chen Wang is revised and five new species-M. cangshanensis sp. nov., M. flavipennis sp. nov., M. fulvotigera sp. nov., and M. sichuanica sp. nov. from China and M. bhutanensis sp. nov. from Bhutan-are described. All species of Meishania are illustrated and a key to species is provided.

Wallacea jarawa n. sp. infesting coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L., Arecaceae) in the Indian Ocean Islands of Andaman & Nicobar is described and illustrated. The structure of the endophallic sclerites is illustrated and used in species recognition. Borassus flabellifer L. (Arecaceae) and an unidentified rattan cane (? Calamus sp., Arecaceae) are reported as additional host plants.

Two new genera: Baoshanalticagen. n. and Sinosphaeragen. n., and two new species: Baoshanaltica minutasp. n. and Sinosphaera apterasp. n. from south-west China are described and illustrated. Baoshanaltica is compared to the allied moss-inhabiting genera Cangshanaltica Konstantinov et al. and Phaelota Jacoby, in addition to Minota Kutschera. Sinosphaera is compared to Sphaeroderma Stephens, Omeisphaera Chen & Zia, Jacobyana Maulik, and Kamala Maulik.

A new genus (Penghou) with a single new species (P. yulongshan) from Yunnan Province in China is described and illustrated. It is compared to Hespera Weise, Hesperomorpha Ogloblin, Laotzeus Chen, Luperomorpha Weise, Mandarella Duvivier, Omeiana Chen, Stenoluperus Ogloblin and Taiwanohespera Kimoto.

Chaeridiona mayuri n. sp. infesting ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) and turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) in southern India is described and illustrated. Cheilocostus speciosus ( J. Koenig) C. D. Specht, Globba sessiliflora Sims and Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Smith are reported as additional host plants. Chaeridiona pseudometallica Basu is redescribed and illustrated. A key to the species of Indian Chaeridiona is provided.

Callispa keram sp. n. infesting coconut palm (Cocos nucifera L.) in Kerala, India is described and illustrated. Livistona chinensis R.Br. and Syagrus romanzoffiana (Cham.) Glassman are reported as additional host plants.
RESUMEN
A new species of subaquatic Longitarsus pupating inside the stem aerenchyma of its hydrophyte host plant is described. Eggs are laid on tender leaves and buds and the larvae are open feeders. This is the first report of an Oriental flea beetle pupating inside the stem of its hydrophyte host. A key to the species of southern Indian Longitarsus is provided.
