RESUMEN

The paper presents the research in cases of the unexpected and sudden of the patients injured by fire-arms, during the aggression on BH. On the basis of the results of the origin of injury, the period of providing medical aid, the level of tissue damage and the function disturbancy, it could be concluded that numerous factors which are typical for the state of war are included comarde to the influencing factor of injuries observed in the incidents in the times of peace. The injuries in the course of the aggression are characterized by a severe tissue damage which is frequently followed by the poison gases poisoning, the quality of the first aid given, delayed and aggravated transportation, multi-organic disbalance of the morphological structures and functions as well as an increased development of these mediators which bring about this type of disbalance. The lack of chemical diagnostic means prevents the determination of existence of the indicators of threatening deaths in the cases where there are no clinical signs for a fatal outcome. The frequency of casualties has prevented the prompt control of the biochemics and thus resulted in the increase of the number of unexpected and unclarified deaths.

RESUMEN

We have investigated the influence of the strong psycho-social stress and malnutrition in which the food contained 48% of proteins, 56% of fats and 58% of carbohydrates of the daily needs. These conditions were imposed by the blockade of Sarajevo. In the group of the long followed cases of the insulin dependent patients suffering from diabetes mellitus we have observed the improvement of clinical status and favourable changes of biochemical parameters, among which the contents of IgG, insulin antibodies, sugar in blood, triglycerides, HbA1C, C peptides, T-lymphocytes and cholesterol. Such results were registered even though the therapy, due to the circumstances of war, was irregular and stress and nutrition which was rich in carbohydrates had, according to our expectations acted as glycogens. In creation of this change, jugding by results, the leading role is that of the changes of the protein content, immunity and neuro-endocrine components. For determination of the precise mechanisms of these changes, further investigations of the insulin receptors, the dynamic of cortisol and creatinine kinase and antibodies present in this disease are needed.

RESUMEN

Content of atropine in eye drops of atropine sulfate were determined colorimetrically and spectrophotometricaly using methods of ion pairs with bromtimolblue. The described method is more convenient for routine analysis then non aqueous titration described in various Pharmacopeas.
