The analysis of use of a basic clinical nutrition with inclusion to its structure of nutritious mixes after operation on a gastroenteric path at patients is carried out. He allows to predict possible consequences stressful impacts of surgical intervention and an alimentary deprivation, and also to develop ways of their elimination and regulation in an organism. The prognostic interrelation between level of survival rate and indicators of clinical, biochemical and anhropometric researches is established. Clinical manifestations of the postresection diseases, being characterized permanent diverse functional changes, are connected not only with operational intervention and length of rehabilitation period, but also with nutritional disorder of the patient that leads to albuminous, lipid and mineral disorder, vitamin insufficiency and lengthening of rehabilitation period. The correlation analysis showed that decrease in level of a visceral pool of serum proteins in patients after operations on a gastrointestinal tract associated with the high risk of complications, increases of lethality and duration of rehabilitation period. Inclusion of nutritious mixes in a basic clinical nutrition allows to do leveling the deficiency of energy and plastic substances which is observed in the operated.

In the 1-year double-blind placebo-controlled intervention trial, it was shown that daily supplementation of patients with gastric premalignant lesions (intestinal metaplasia, IM) with a complex, containing Ester-C with antioxidantsand (2100 mg of Ca-ascorbate + 340 mg of bioflavonoids), produced a sharp decrease of abnormally high ornithine decarboxylase activity in IM gastric mucosa that was accom panied by practically total IM regression in 11 of 18 (61%) patients.

We includes 66 patients with liver cirrhosis of Child-Pugh B class with hepatic encephalopathy of 0 to 2nd stages in randomized interventional study. 36 patients received standard treatment and 30 patients received standard treatment + bioactive substances in formula CognoBlend in capsules (2 capsules twice a day) in course of 5 weeks. Formula includes extracts of plants: Bacopa monneria, Gingko biloba, Cat's Claw, Gotu Kola, Rosemary. In group combined treatment was significant improvement of clinical signs, psychometric tests, electroencephalography and serum biochemistry than in group with standard therapy, on term of 2 to 5 weeks.

We conducted a search for prospective randomized clinical trials comparing the effects of enteral and parenteral nutrition in adults. Two different people abstracted data for the method and outcomes separately. We used fixed-effects meta-analysis technique to combine the relative risks of the outcomes of infection, nutrition support complications, other complications, and mortality.

In paper the procedure and principles of carrying out of anthropometric measurements permitting to the practical doctor in clinical and out-patient conditions to supervise behind changes of volume muscle and bodies composition, and also total body water in subjects at carrying of a medical nutrition. Usage of integral parameters on the basis of anthropometric measurements allows effectively to inspect a status of nutrition of the able-bodied and in car patients.

The energy expenditure and requirements and dietary intake were studied in basketball players aged 14-16 years during 3 week-training period. The subjects of study were 14 boys and 18 girls as of the members of reserve of Russian Olympic basketball team. The dietary intake was estimated by dietary record of all food consumed within 24 hours last 7 days of training period. The energy expenditure was estimated by registration of time on different physical activity of team and multiplication on physical activity coefficient. The decrease of body mass and body mass index were observed in boys with height 195 cm and more to the end of training period. These tall boys did not consume enough food to satisfy the estimated energy requirement. It is estimated that energy need of tall basketball players is no less then 5000 kcal for boys and 3100 kcal for girls.
