RESUMEN

Objective To isolate the secondary metabolites of endophytic fungus Aspergillus sp. J218 from Anectochilus roxburhii. Methods Different chromatographic methods, including Sephadex LH-20 and silica gel chromatography as well as HPLC, were used to isolate compounds from the EtOAc fraction of the solid fermentation of J218, and their structures were identified by spectral methods. Results Ten compounds were isolated from the fermentation of J218 and their structures were individually identified as kotanin(1), flavasperone(2), aurasperone B(3), fonsecinone B(4), fonsecinone D(5), ensidol A(6), fonsecinone A(7), fonsecinone C(8), aurasperone A(9), and fonsecinone F(10). Conclusion Most compounds isolated from endophytic fungus Aspergillus sp. J218 in Anectochilus roxburhii were identified as dimeric naphthopyrones. These results suggest that this strain contains rich dimerization synthase, which could provide clues for the further exploration of the rational biosynthesis pathway of dimeric naphthopyrones in this strain.

RESUMEN

Dickkopf-1 (DKK1) is a secreted glycoprotein that acts as an inhibitor of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and plays an important role in embryonic development, neurogenesis and synaptogenesis. After cerebral ischemia, DKK1 inhibits neurogenesis and angiogenesis by promoting neuronal apoptosis and blood-brain barrier damage, thus aggravating brain injury. In addition, serum DKK1 in patients with ischemic stroke was associated with different disease stages and outcomes. Therefore, the development of specific inhibitors targeting DKK1 is expected to be applied in the treatment of ischemic stroke.

RESUMEN

Activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) is a stress response factor containing a basic region-leucine zipper. When the body is under stress, the increased expression of ATF4 binds to cellular transcription factors, which in turn regulates the corresponding downstream target genes, thereby initiating cellular responses. After cerebral ischemia, ATF4 plays a neuroprotective role by participating in various pathophysiological processes such as regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress, oxidative stress, mitochondrial autophagy, inflammatory response, vascular regeneration, and synaptic plasticity. Therefore, ATF4 is expected to become a new target for the treatment of ischemic brain injury.

RESUMEN

Piwi-interacting RNA (piRNA) is a new class of small non-coding RNAs that function by specifically binding to the Piwi subfamily members of the Argonaute protein family. piRNA regulates the expression of target genes at epigenetic and post-transcriptional levels, and participates in the development and progression of cerebral ischemia by mediating pathophysiological processes such as inflammation, angiogenesis, and neuronal synaptic plasticity.

RESUMEN

Objective To investigate the management knowledge and attitudes of dysphagia in stroke patients in Nanning neurology nurses, and to provide evidence for clinical knowledge training and improvement of clinical nursing quality. Methods A total of 360 neurology nurses from 7 different levels of hospitals in Nanning were investigated for knowledge and attitudes about stroke dysphagia management. Results The average score of management knowledge of neurological nurses was 54.52±15.51, and the average score of attitude was 45.12 ± 3.90. There was significant difference in the knowledge score of nurses from different hospital level, ages and titles (t=-1.007, P=0.035; F=3.994, P=0.009; F=0.347, P=0.002). There was significant difference in the attitudes score of nurses from different ages and titles (t=7.435, P=0.007); 61.1% (220/360) of nurses did not learn stroke management guidelines for dysphagia;60%(216/360) of nurses administered dysphagia were based on their own experience, 73.9%(266/360) of nurses believe that the reason for hindering their own swallowing management is the lack of relevant knowledge and skills. Conclusions Neurology nurses have a positive attitude towards stroke management of dysphagia, but lack of knowledge. Nurses with low age, low professional title and low working years have poor knowledge of management of stroke dysphagia. Nursing managers should carry out targeted training for nurses, provide more education and training opportunities to improve the knowledge and service quality of nurses with dysphagia.
