RESUMEN

The article presents results of the study of vegetative homeostasis in 60 children aged 10-15 with vegetative dysfunctions. The efficacy of treatment with Multi-tabs medication of 30 children with vegetative dysfunctions with has been studied. The Multi-tabs medication treatment showed good results confirmed by positive dynamics of clinical symptoms, ECG, CIG data.

RESUMEN

Our objective in this study was to carry out an immunological assessment of use of immunomodulating agents in a complex therapy of those children with poor health who are always ailing and present with cardiorheumatological pathology. A way for prevention of aggravation of cardiorheumatological pathology is submitted, involving the use of bronchomunal and narine according to the developed treatment regimen.

RESUMEN

As many as fifty healthy children and juveniles who ranged between one to 18 years old were examined together with 25 children presenting with preexcitation syndromes (WPW-syndrome). Registered in all patients was the DAECG tracing. As a result of the studies made it has been found out that indices for the DAECG ventricular complex are age-dependent. DAECG indices characterizing WPW-syndrome are defined.

RESUMEN

Chlamidia psitacci, Chlamidia trachomatis, Chlamidia pneumoniae are intracellular bacterial parasites causing ornithosis, trachoma, conjuctivitis, urogenital, respiratory infections, arthritis, Reiter's disease. The role is discussed of the above microorganisms in the development of cardiological, neurological disorders. The past years have seen further progress in microbiological diagnosis but information now available on, in the first place, Chlamidia pneum., is scarce. In most clinical studies they use a serological diagnosis which is not without faults, with the cultural method and polymerization chain reaction being most informative diagnostic tools. The diagnostic value of the above-mentioned reaction will, we believe, increase with its improvement. In the preliminary diagnosis, cytomorphological methods can be made use of.

RESUMEN

The state has been studied of the humoral component of immunological reactivity according to the content of the serumal complement, complement-bounding antibodies, immunoglobulins and immunoglobulin-antibodies of the main classes in the time-related course of rheumatism, nonrheumatic carditis and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) in children. Tissue, enzymic, streptococcal antigens have been used together with those of nucleotides, nucleases. The obtained results suggest to us that the humoral component of bodily immunological reactivity has an important part in pathogenesis of the above medical conditions. It can be used in the diagnosis of affections of the heart.

RESUMEN

Kept under continuous medical surveillance were 77 children with streptococcal tonsillitis. In all patients, a pathogenic streptococcus (GABHS) was invariably found in culture. Among other common features of the above disease were decline in the tonsil colony resistance state and lowering of those parameters characterizing immunity. A highly efficient means of treating tonsillitis of streptococcal etiology has been elaborated, relying on the use of macrolides and L. acidophilus according to our methods, which can, we believe, come to be widely used in health care practice.

RESUMEN

Our objective in this study was to develop and assess the diagnostic value of a coagglutination test with making use of peptidoglycane of Staphylococcus aureus in the identification of diseases of staphylococcal etiology. A total of 166 patients with diseases of staphylococcal etiology were examined. A test was elaborated of coagglutination with making use of peptidoglycane of Staphylococcus aureus for a differential identification of antibodies to peptidoglycan in healthy persons and patients with staphylococcosis.

RESUMEN

The frequency of recovery was studied as was sensitivity to antibiotics of staphylococci and streptococci of the faucial tonsils over the last 7 years in those children with chronic tonsillitis who are in poor health. In always ailing children, it is Staphylococcus aureus that is recovered from the tonsils more often than not, with pathogenic streptococcus being found on more rare occasions. Sensitivity of pathogenic streptococci to benzyl penicillin sodium salt has gotten much lower in recent years. This accounts for a low efficiency of penicillin therapy of streptococcal infection, which fact is to be considered in designing therapeutic measures to be instituted in those children being in poor health.

RESUMEN

The microbial cenosis of tonsils has been studied in healthy and ailing children. It has been found out that Staphylococcus aureus and S. epidermidis, beta-hemolytic streptococcus, rarely gram-negative flora and candidae were most often isolated in the ailing children. Normal microflora of healthy children mainly included lactic acid bacteria whose level considerably decreased in ailing children that is most distinctly expressed in children with decompensated tonsillitis. To correct the disturbances in microbial cenosis during complex therapy we used lactobacteria to treat the nasopharynx with the suspension of these bacteria. Positive clinical effect with following positive results of bacteriological investigation has been obtained in all patients.

RESUMEN

Antigens were studied of HLA system in always ailing patients presenting with the formed chronic focus of infection in the tonsils. A total of 56 patients with chronic decompensated tonsillitis who were assigned for tonsillectomy by clinical indications were examined together with 53 essentially healthy subjects. Tonsillitis patients revealed HLA-antigens B7, A1, associations A10B7, more frequently than controls, the difference being statistically significant. The data obtained are helpful in identification of risk groups in relation to formation in recurrent respiratory diseases of chronic focal pathology in the nasopharynx.

RESUMEN

Differential diagnosis of rheumatic carditis and nonrheumatic myocarditis in children is a challenging problem, which fact is connected with increase in those forms of rheumatic fever that present with few symptoms. The present article contains results of study into generally recognized routine methods of investigation common in the diagnosis of rheumatism. Measures of titers of antistreptolysine-O (ASL-O), antistreptohyaluronidase (ASH), antistreptokinase (ASK), biochemical indices for blood, activity of enzymes creatinphosphokinase, lactatdegidrogenase and its first fraction are not helpful; they do not permit distinguishing the above conditions, for which purpose we employed the method of fluid-phase immunoanalysis as recommended by V. N. Fedorich, A. E. Gaevskaia, A. I. Gritsiuk, I. D. Bul'da. The results obtained showed high informative value of measures associated with different antigens in A, G, M classes Immunoglobulins. Their alterations are to large extent dependent on the pattern of the pathologic process.

RESUMEN

State of colonization resistance was studied in healthy children and those presenting with recurring infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract. Identification of representatives of tonsil anaerobic and aerobic floras was carried out. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB), alpha-Streptococcus, were present in tonsil flora of healthy children. Pathogenic microorganisms and opportunistic pathogens were recoverable from always ailing children with tonsillitis, with alpha-streptococcus being recoverable very seldom and no decrease in LAB levels being seen. In patients--candidates for tonsillectomy, pathogenic microorganisms were identifiable, with LAB levels decrease by a factor of 10(3-4). The above findings suggest development of dysbacteriosis, decrement of tonsil colonization resistance in always ailing children, which fact is to be considered in designing and implementing therapeutic measures.

RESUMEN

The aim of the work done was to improve treatment options for focal Staphylococcus-induced diseases in adolescents and children with the aid of adsorbed staphylococcal anatoxin (ASA) concurrently with low-intensive EHF therapy. Overall fifty patients aged 3 to 17 years with Staphylococcus infection in tonsils, nose, ears were kept under medical surveillance. ASA and EHF therapies were instituted according to the developed schemes of such therapies. Positive dynamics was shown of clinical picture and parameters characterizing humoral and cell-mediated immunity. There were no unfavourable side-effects. The proposed mode of treatment can, we believe, be widely used in a clinical setting.
