RESUMEN
50 patients with epicondylus ulnaris fractures are analysed. 4 types of fracture are recognised. The results of therapy are often described in literature much more optimistically than in reality. The first critical examination and the selection of therapy, mostly a surgical intervention, had a great influence on mobility of the elbow joint, on strength and subjective perception. The results could only be assessed after three years. Complications of concomitant injuries - nerve lesion and ligament/capsule structures - were discussed with regard to surgical approach.

Three cases of sleeve fractures of the patella are reported. These lesions are epiphyseal fractures. Attention is drawn to the fact that the diagnosis may be missed. Surgical treatment is necessary to attaining and maintaining reduction. The authors focus on that avascular necrosis is important in sleeve fractures and the open reduction increases this risk.

The Medtronic 6971-6972 electrode for pacemakers constitutes a technical progress, as it is highly flexible, anchors itself well to the ventricular wall and has improved electrical properties. The electrode is introduced into the right ventricle in the usual way, but it is fragile and must be handled with care. The most interesting points are the lack of displacement during the say in hospital (confirmed in 50 cases) and the low rate of reintervention (2 cases), which can be further improved with better control of the material.
