RESUMEN

The paper deals with the functional diagnosis based on the synchronous analysis of a spirogram and a cardiac intervalogram (CIG) by evaluating respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA). A method based on the calculation of R-R interval differences in separate breathing cycles is used for automated reckoning of RSA. A band-pass filter is employed to separate out a respiratory constituent of CIG. The programmed algorithmic use of the method is based on a linear selective transformation that is a general procedure for morphological analysis of cardiac signals in real time.

RESUMEN

The paper presents an algorithm of partial and complete morphological analysis of cardiac signals in real time. Linear selective transformation is the key procedure that precedes and creates prerequisites for morphological analysis of cardiac signals in real time.

RESUMEN

Despite the fact that the duration of cardiac cycle complexes is a main diagnostic index in interpretation of ECG, a unified common approach to constructing measuring algorithms is lacking now. The paper reviews the methods of detection and measurement of the onset and termination of cardiographic complexes. Their link with the general theory of assessment by using the Fischer mathematical statistic methods, the Winner filtration methods, the approximation methods by spline functions and Kalman's filters is considered. An attempt was made to describe the pattern of cardiac cycle pulses on the basis of physiological processes of cardiac electric activity.

RESUMEN

The paper defines requirements for reference signals to check measuring the algorithms of automatic electrocardiographic systems. It proposes a reference signal which meets these requirements and gives a block diagram of a test bed.

RESUMEN

Some features of automating processes of biomedical signal analysis are considered. An actual complex of algorithms and programs realized on the homemade hardware is taken as an example. Practical recommendations to improve similar complexes being in current use in outpatient clinics are given.
