RESUMEN

The glycoregulation of 17 type II diabetics was observed to improve by administering 1 g of acetylsalicylic acid three times per day, during a one-year study. The subjects did not lose weight during the experimental period, but the insulin daily requirement of 7 patients did decrease by 60%.
