RESUMEN

The deactivation of ozone decomposition catalysts has been a bottleneck in their industrial application. As an efficient catalyst regeneration method, the liquid-phase method has attracted wide attention due to its operability and universality. However, the amount of waste liquid generated by the used regeneration liquid is a major drawback of its application. Therefore, we propose an electrolytic regeneration method for cyclic regeneration of MnOx ozone decomposition catalysts by combining the advantages of the electrolytic process. In this method, NaNO2 solution is used to react with O22- to efficiently regenerate the inactivated MnOx catalysts, while NO2- is oxidized to NO3-, and then the oxidized NO3- can be efficiently reduced to NO2- through the electrolysis process at the cathode with an 88% Faraday efficiency, ultimately realizing the recycling of the NO2-/NO3- regeneration solution. By this method, the regeneration of inactivated MnOx ozone catalysts can be realized only using electricity.

RESUMEN

Magnetopneumography (MPG) as a non-invasive method for pneumoconiosis diagnosis has been developed to evaluate the load and spatial distribution of particles within the human lungs through scanning of remanent magnetic fields after magnetization of the subject in a strong direct current field. The measurement of particle spatial distribution is very important for pneumoconiosis diagnosis because localized deposits may be associated with some pathological changes such as pulmonary fibrosis. Previous research found that loads of magnetite particles were proportional to their magnetic dipole moments. The three-dimensional (3D) MPG magnetic dipole model (MDM) proposed in this paper and based on Biot-Savart Law and matrix manipulation provides a means of precise measurement of the particle distribution and load amount. A styrofoam + magnetite powder phantom with magnetization was laid on a nonmagnetic board. Two first-order fluxgate gradiometers with 10-12 T sensitivity were coaxially applied over and under the phantom and used for scanning remanent magnetic fields. This paper provides validation results using 3D MPG MDM through two experiments. The overall error of the simulation results is 0.2-2.7% in the center and 7.28-9.42% in the corners of the subject. Finally, this paper gives clinical experiments with a welder suffering stage-II pneumoconiosis and states that the 3D MPG MDM shows similar results to X-ray chest films in pneumoconiosis diagnosis. The results suggest that the 3D MPG MDM is potentially a reasonable and accurate algorithmic model to inversely track the load amount and distribution of magnetite particles within the lungs. RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To understand the endemic regulation of acute schistosomiasis in Nanchang City of Jiangxi Province from 2005 to 2012 so as to provide the reference for policy-making of schistosomiasis control. METHODS: The data of acute schistosomiasis were collected and analyzed with the descriptive epidemiology method in Nanchang City from 2005 to 2012. RESULTS: A total of 52 acute schistosomiasis cases were reported in Nanchang City from 2005 to 2012. The morbidity of acute schistosomiasis was 0.003 46% in 2005, and it was 0 in 2012. The morbidity of acute schistosomiasis in different years was significant different (chi2 = 61.077, P < 0.01). The duration of incidence was from May to November, but the peak of the incidence was July. The sex ratio between males and females was 4.78:1 (43:9, chi2 = 22.231, P < 0.01). The ages of cases showed double humps, namely the 6-15 years' group and 30-40 years' group. Most of the acute cases were farmers (65.38%), students (25.00%), and fishermen (3.85%). Fishing and swimming were the main infection ways, with the infection rates of 63.46% and 26.92%, respectively. CONCLUSION: The susceptible populations are peasants and young students; therefore, we should strengthen health education for these high-risk groups.
