RESUMEN
The paper details the types of a myocardial response to impaired blood flow, such as myocardial stunning, hibernation, ischemic preconditioning, warm-up phenomenon, ischemic postconditioning, remodeling, and infarction. According to the pathogenesis, the authors identify several types of myocardial dysfunction in transient ischemic attack--uptake, delivery; and a mixed one. It is concluded the myocardial response to damage depends on a combination of influencing factors, a number of pathophysiological processes starting in the acute phase of ischemia achieve its peak in the late period.

A study of the structural aspects of blood serum albumin in patients with different forms of IHD and non-coronarogenous diseases of the myocardium revealed a reduction of spiralization of the albumin molecule, formation of modified form of protein and albumin-carbohydrate complexes. It is recommended to use these biochemical parameters in the complex diagnosis of different forms of cardiac pathology.

Isoelectric spectra of serum albumins isolated from blood of patients with heart ischemia were studied using isoelectric focusing in borate-polyolic systems in a polyacrylamide gel. In patients with heart ischemia the amount of fractions with pI 4.3-4.9 and 5.2-7.4 is found to increase with a simultaneous decrease in the fraction with pI 4.9-5.2 as compared with these indices in healthy people from the control group. Especially pronounced changes in isoelectrophoregrams were observed for blood albumins of patients with transmural myocardium infraction.

Conformational changes in blood serum albumin under heart ischemia are found from the dispersion parameters of optical rotation and circular dichroism. It is also found that patients with myocardium infarction have a considerable amount of carbohydrate components in the modified albumin form.
