RESUMEN

The paper is concerned with the problems pertaining to the implementation of the State Union-Republic program of urgent measures for 1990-1992 and Republican programs of the elimination of Chernobyl accident consequences. Among the basic priorities covered by the program, the author regards the problems of the living of the population at the polluted areas, criteria for accepting decisions as to the possibility of further living or settling out together with favourable and unfavourable consequences of such a measure as settling out. Emphasis is laid on some priorities of the optimal use of means alloted for implementing the programs of the elimination of Chernobyl accident consequences.

RESUMEN

A mathematical approach is proposed to predict human sensitivity to repeated uniform irradiation by the criterion of LD50 depending on the dose of the first exposure and the time lapsed from the repeated irradiation.

RESUMEN

In experiments with mongrel male rats exposed to double uniform gamma-irradiation (60Co), the postirradiation radiosensitivity was studied by the criterion of a median lethal dose; clinical and laboratory indices were investigated after preirradiation with doses of 1-5 Gy. A function was proposed to link the dynamics of the postirradiation radiosensitivity of rats to the proliferative activity of bone marrow and its total cellularity.

RESUMEN

After double partial X irradiation of abdomen the postirradiation radiosensitivity of mongrel male rats was studied by the criterion of a median lethal dose; clinical and laboratory parameters were investigated after preirradiation with 4.6 and 8 Gy. A function is proposed linking the dynamics of the postirradiation radiosensitivity of rats with the proliferative activity of small intestine and its total cellularity.

RESUMEN

The experimental animals were exposed two times to soft 17kV X-radiation. Post-irradiation changes in radiosensitivity were shown to depend upon dose of preliminary irradiation (10, 18 and 25 Gy). The state of radiosensitive tissues was studied and a comparison was made of a residual damage curve with a change in the proliferative activity of dividing tissue elements during 30 days after irradiation.
