RESUMEN

Based on an investigation of indices of enzymatic spectrum of the blood, cyclic nucleotides, ultrasonic and rheographic examination of the liver the authors confirmed high efficiency of using electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter-wave range in ulcer disease and concomitant diseases of the liver.

RESUMEN

The results of a study of somatosensory evoked potentials recorded in 37 healthy subjects of both sexes are described. Comparison of the results of tests on three age subgroups showed selectivity in the change in latencies and amplitudes of waves of the somatosensory responses depending on the subject's age. Ipsilateral responses show greater variability but a lower amplitude and frequency of appearance of the individual components than contralateral responses. Their latent periods also were longer than those of the contralateral responses.

RESUMEN

Somatosensory evoked responses were recorded in 37 healthy adults, male and female, at the age of 18-53. These responses were polyphasic aperiodic and consisted of 7-9 waves. The early components of the response were more marked in monopolar recording. Differences in the fluctuation of the latent periods and amplitudes were found as dependent on the age. Ipsilateral responses contrary to the contralateral ones were more variable, had a less amplitude and frequency of appearance of separate components. The latent periods of ipsilateral responses were longer (3-7 ms) as compared to the contralateral ones.
