RESUMEN

As part of a research effort to assess the adaptive value of Huastec medicine, a preliminary screening of a sample of the Huastec pharmacopoeia has been carried out. Results from the screening of 56 species are reported here together with information about Huastec use and knowledge of medicinal plants.
